Duties and Responsibilities:
• Management of contractors to ensure that performances are carefully
monitored in terms of schedule, quality and safety.
• Prior to plan/start the work, check the supplier’s material and technical
documentation of delivery schedule. Check that the same is in line with
construction schedule and contractual commitment.
• Coordinate all necessary recovery actions whenever detect deviation
from schedule or specifications under the guidance from construction
manager.
• Detect the design errors, and where possible the rectify the same or
request to design engineer to make necessary changes.
• Control contractor claims based on contract documents, drawing
plans, Field change request /change order/site instructions etc.
• Carry out daily checks on contractor's workforce and prepare activity
report of work carried out during the previous day. Reports to supervisor
work anomalies or contractual deviations committed by contractor
personnel and recommend corrective actions.
• Ensures the implementation of all the HSE procedures and standards for
the areas of contractor site activities.
• Regularly participate in HSE activities at site like HSE meetings, toolbox
talks and daily jobsite walks and keep a meticulous record of these.
