Ensure Quality documents are followed for Chalmers Operations.
• Review the customer specification and engineering documents for compliance to construction / fabrication
process.
• Take new initiative to enhance the quality performance.
• Implementing and maintaining Integrated Management System
• Conduct in-process inspections, prepare quality observations and communicate to the departments.
• Conduct inspection for hazardous area equipment installation.
• Conduct Mechanical Completion Inspections, complete ITRs, prepare punch lists and communicate to
departments.
• Conduct Material Receiving Inspection, prepare reports and communicate to resources and departments.
• Conduct scheduled work inspection, prepare reports and communicate to the departments.
• Prepare ITR Index for mechanical completion
Plan and schedule projects, estimate time and materials, supervise subordinates, maintain
records and files and prepare reports.
• Plan and supervise the work of electricians
• Plan and estimate electrical jobs
• Maintain records on electrical jobs and assign to appropriate personnel.
• Assist in coordinating job assignments with the other trades, e.g., plumbers, carpenters,
etc.
• Maintain knowledge of electrical materials in warehouse.
• Advise coordinator and Assistant Project Manager of technical problems concerned with
installation, modification and repair of electrical assignments.
• Recommend procedure revisions when necessary to fully utilize assigned personnel and
equipment.
