The stadium in Al Thumama will have a minimum capacity of 40, 000 for the 2022 FIFA World Cup and host matches to the quarter-finals stage. It will be built over an area of 515, 400 square meters that will include ten outdoor training pitches and office facilities.
RESPONSIBILITIES
-Carrying out reviews for all electrical related submissions by the contractor. Document includes detailed shop drawing, material, calculation, method statement and pre-qualification.
-Reviewing the project schematic specifications and project schematic drawings to identify any discrepancy and resolved the issue prior to execution.
-Reviewing and giving approval for the pre-contract documents submitted by the main contractor (Design and Built) which includes the specification, IFC drawing, reports, calculations and fire strategy.
-Review and evaluate the contractors monthly claim based on the periodic valuation of the work completed and approved inspection at the site.
-Analyzing and gives approval for the calculation submitted by the contractor such as; voltage drop percentage, cable size, cable tray size, capacitor bank, generator sizing, transformer sizing, lighting lux level calculation, and maximum demand load in each main LV Panel/Switchgear.
-Witness, review and gives approval for FAT / SAT of electrical equipment such as 415V switchgear, MCC panel, SMDB & DB.
-Reviewing the 11kV substation drawing and 11kV schematic diagram submitted by the main contractor prior to uploading the documents to Kahramaa for building permit purposes.
-Creating list of Statutory Authority requirements and Job Standard to be submitted by the contractor.
-Responsible for the supervision of the old District Cooling Plant consisting of 7nos. Chillers (2000 TR each) which is under refurbishment contract of the contractor.
-Ensuring that all installation are in line with the approved documents and project specification. Installation includes BMS, Fire Alarm, FM200/FOAM System, Lighting Control, Switchgear (11kV & 415V), Transformer, Generator Station, Motor Control Centre, 11kV and LV cabling, Central Battery, Access Control, CCTV, Public Address, Voice & Data, Wifi, Refrigerant Leak Detection, Chilled Water Leak Detection, Earthing & Lightning Protection, power, lighting, street lighting, etc.
Project: Doha Festival City
Energy Center (11kV Chiller Plant)

Doha Festival City Mall, with a gross leasable area of around 250, 000 m2, comprises 550 outlets representing international and local brands, including 85 restaurants and cafes, VOX Cinemas, Angry Birds World, Snow Dunes, Juniverse and Virtuocity. It features around 8, 000 parking spaces.
Responsibilities:
-Carrying out reviews for all electrical related submissions by the contractor. Document includes detailed shop drawing, material, calculation, method statement and test pack procedure.
-Overseeing site works mainly in the construction of 11kV Substation, 11kV network and District Cooling Plant consisting of 7nos. 11kV Chiller - 2500 TR each).
-Ensuring that all installation are in line with the approved documents and project specification. Installation includes BMS, Fire Alarm, FM200/FOAM System, Lighting Control, Switchgear (11kV & 415V), Transformer, Generator Station, Motor Control Centre, Central Battery, Access Control, CCTV, Public Address, Voice & Data, Wifi, Gas Detection, Refrigerant Leak Detection, Chilled Water Leak Detection, Carbon Monoxide Detection, Earthing & Lightning Protection, Vehicle Management System, power, lighting, street lights, etc.
-Testing & commissioning (including integration simulation) of Building Management System, Chiller Plant Control, Fire Alarm, FM200/FOAM System, UPS, Central Battery, Switchgear (11kV & 415V), Transformer, DDC, Motor Control Centre (Primary & Secondary Chilled Water Pumps, Condenser Water Pump, Make up water pump, Cooling tower, AHU, FAHU, Smoke extract fan, Jet Fan, etc.), Generator Station, Access Control, Public Address, CCTV, Gas Detection System, Refrigerant Leak Detection, Chilled Water Leak Detection, etc.
-Witness, review and gives approval for several test such as cable/busbar megger test, HV cable Hipot test, busduct contact resistance test, earth loop impedance testing, earth rod resistance test, ACB trip unit simulation, MCCB trip test, simulation of primary & secondary injection test for protection relays, REF stability test, transformer temperature alarm/trip, polarity, central battery charge & discharge test, fire alarm cause & effect matrix, UPS & Generator load test & blackout test, power factor correction test, harmonic measurement, Fiber optic cable OTDR end to end loss test and Lux verification.
-Verifies that materials, manufactured goods, machinery, equipment, etc. supplied to the job site are in line with projects specification and granted approvals.
-Conduct meetings relevant to Fire and Life Safety (FLS) to ensure all installation are in compliance with NFPA building construction and safety code standards. Checking Cause and Effect Matrix.
-Witness, review and gives approval for FAT / SAT of electrical equipment such as 415V switchgear, MCC panel, SMDB & DB.
-Conduct meetings for quality issue, coordination with other trades, progress of site construction such as cables, switchgear deliveries and testing & commissioning.
-Arranges for samples of workmanship and establishes minimum acceptable job standards.
-Advised Project Manager on requirements and programming of all services and coordinates the actions of contractor, the relevant authorities and all other contractors and services involved.
-Assist and provides necessary data/information required by the project manager for the preparation of reports (includes labour and supervision, plant and equipment, status, site progress, amendments, delays, etc.) for submission to Client.
-Advises Project Manager on progress of electrical work and suggest actions.
-Inspects and attends maintenance works during maintenance and defect liability period.
-Reviewing closeout and handing-over documents such as as-built, O&M manuals, snagging/de-snagging, CAR, NCR, warranties and spares.
Project: Labour City Complex

Labour City complex is composed of 55 Buildings, 61 Substations, 3 Mosques, 2 Police Stations and a Medical Clinic that cover 1, 100, 000 m2 of land development in Mesaimeer. Installation of 30 km. 11kV cable, 15 km. fiber optic cable, 3000 CCTV and 700 street lighting.
Responsibilities:
-Review and gives approvals to shop drawing, material submittal and method statement submitted by the contractor at appropriate intervals during the life cycle of the project.
-Ensures electrical constructions are implemented in accordance with the project specifications, international standards and government regulations. Installation includes Fire Alarm, FM200/FOAM System, Access Control, Lighting Control, 3000 nos. CCTV, Public Address, Generator, Voice & Data and Gas Detection, Earthing & Lightning Protection System, power, lighting and 700 nos. street lighting.
-Supervised the construction of 61 substation including equipment installation, testing and commissioning of 11kV switchgear, transformer, 415V switchgear and FM200.
-Witness, review and gives approval for the installation & testing of 22km 11kV cable laying and 12km communication fiber optic cable.
-Testing & commissioning of extra low voltage system (ELV) including integration simulation of Building Management System, Fire Alarm, FM200/FOAM System, UPS, Central Battery, Generator load test and blackout test, Access Control and CCTV.

The project covers an area of 227, 000m2 including the basement area of 35, 250m2. The parking area can accommodate up to 1, 100 vehicles. The project includes three specialised hospitals; Women's Hospital (190 beds), Ambulatory Hospital (64 beds), Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Hospital (200beds) and a scientific Research Centre.
Responsibilities:
-Preparing design coordination drawing with mechanical, structural & architectural during shop drawing preparation of MEP services and reflected ceiling plan using AutoCAD. I was able to meet deadlines as per project expected submission dates.
-Creating detailed design of generator room reflecting equipment location, orientation, clearances, details of sound attenuator, vibration isolator, exhaust system and calculation of foundation load bearing capacity.
-Creating detailed design of 11kV substation showing the details of 11kV switchgear, transformer, 415 switchgear, battery charger, marshalling box, 11kV cable, pilot cable, REF trip cable, Temp. Trip cable, BMS connection, FM200 system, concrete cable trench, containment and sectional details of the room.

Responsibilities:
-Responsible for the project life cycle from project development, planning & budget, execution, tracking & forecast, project performance & quality control and project punch list & contract closeout.
-Reading and interpreting specifications and preparing electrical shop drawings such as High Voltage & Low Voltage power distribution, substation arrangement details, generator station, fire alarm, FM200/FOAM system, public address, central battery, voice/data, CCTV, access control, cable tray schedule, cable trunking schedule, MATV, earthing & lightning protection, cable sizing, voltage drop, panel board schedule, etc.
-Creating manpower planning, material delivery, work scheduling and documentation throughout the project.
-Testing and commissioning of electrical equipment and integration simulation test.
