DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Perform routine field operations for bulk LPG, propane and butane receiving from oil and gas refineries EPCL and DUGAS ensuring on time and safe loading of products on designated tanks, gas tanker loading and offloading, product blending and aerosol propellant processing, following the standard operating procedure and HSE.
• Ensures safe tank ullage, monitors line and tank pressure, ensures proper stroke rate of odorizing unit, take product samples and prepare gauge ticket during the receiving of product from the refineries and bulk road tankers.
• Operates loading arm when loading/unloading road tankers ensuring to follow the standard operating procedure and safety. Checks safe pressure and level of the tanker during loading operation.
• Operates, monitors, starts and stops pumps and rotating equipment. Opens and shuts various kinds of valves manually. Ensures correct valve line up, pumps and tanks selection for filling plant and loading bays.
• Prepare equipments for maintenance ensuring adherence to standards procedure. Performs proper positive isolation, purging and gas testing of the equipment.
• Sign work permits, follow on-going jobs and monitor contractors activities ensuring adherence to safety regulations and procedures.
• Make regular inspection of plant equipments such as pumps and compressors, checks storage tank level, temperature and pressure, checks for any gas leak at the pipelines and loading bays. Correcting malfunctions if appropriate or referring situation to the Supervisor.
• Perform LPG, Propane and Aerosol propellant bulk deliveries for ex-plant customers.
• Perform product inventory in storage tanks and road tankers.
• Assist the technical inspector in new customer tank commissioning/decommissioning and pre-delivery inspections.
• Respond to emergency situations by taking necessary shutdown or process adjustment actions to restore normal operating conditions.
• Cooperate with maintenance personnel by identifying/locating and demonstrating malfunctioning plant and equipment.
• Participate in Tool box meetings, fire drills, safe chemical handling, personal protective equipment usage, safe equipment operation and maintenance (Lock out- Tag out) and adhering to work permit system

1. In-charge in the preparation and hydrotesting the 6”diameter stainless flexible hose, checks the tools and materials needed for hosing, unloading, and de-hosing operations, at least three days before the vessel’s estimated time of arrival.
2. In charge in the inspection of the submarine pipeline, from the mooring buoy to the pier, before/after and during VCM ship unloading operation.
3. Mobilizes and lead the maintenance crews and divers for the safe transportation and connection of flexible hose to the submarine pipeline and to the ship unloading manifold.
4. Conveys, through constant radio communication, the unloading activity details to personnel on shore and on the vessel.
5. Checks for proper berthing and unberthing of the vessels at the four mooring buoys.
6. Join the safety/operations meeting with vessel representative, surveyor and shore officer prior to the commencement of discharging operation and monitor for leak during discharge.

• Operates the Yokogawa PID and DAQ Station in controlling the reaction temperatures.
• Performs technical audit through regular inspection, assessment and evaluation of all running equipment, and the personnel who directly handle it.
• Provide training and lecture to newly hired operators.
• Ensures that the plant runs safely and efficiently according to the plant’s safety regulations.
