Duties and Responsibilities:

Medical Representative's job is to promote and sell their company's products, whether that's pharmaceutical drugs or medical equipment. Customers can include doctors, nurses and pharmacists. The medical representative will increase product awareness, answer queries, provide advice and introduce new products.

Responsible for selling medical products and services to hospitals, clinics, doctors' offices, and healthcare professionals. Sells products such as medicines, and drugs to be used in general practices, primary care trusts, hospitals and pharmacies.
• Establish business relationship with identified key customers such as hospitals, distributors and wholesalers of Aspen products and implement specific strategies for end users.
• Establish business relationship with top specialty Doctors, Nurses, pharmacist, purchasing officer of all departments in hospitals assigned.
• Establish through specific activities including effective detailing, scientific fora-RTDs, FGDs and Summits.
• Coordinate closely with identified Core Doctors for speakership among other scientific activities.
• Develop Key Opinion Leaders for the assigned product line.; Determine the potential of a product within its market category through market research/survey.
• Implement and execute strategic marketing plans to meet customer needs and wants and ensure the product’s profitability; Organize activities that will promote brand awareness, such as seminars, lectures and symposia.

• Provides patients' personal hygiene by giving bedpans, urinals, baths, backrubs, shampoos, and shaves; assisting with travel to the bathroom; helping with showers and baths.
• Provides for activities of daily living by assisting with serving meals, feeding patients as necessary; ambulating, turning, and positioning patients; providing fresh water and nourishment between meals.
• Provides adjunct care by administering enemas, douches, nonsterile dressings, surgical preps, ice packs, heat treatments, sitz and therapeutic baths; applying restraints.
• Maintains patient stability by checking vital signs and weight; testing urine; recording intake and output information.
• Provides patient comfort by utilizing resources and materials; transporting patients; answering patients' call lights and requests; reporting observations of the patient to nursing supervisor.
