Planning and Supply Continuity
• Define and execute import strategy of ground fuels (Gasoil/Gasoline) and Aviation fuels (JetA1/Avgas) for bp in NZ.
• Ensure short- and long-term changes to demand forecast incorporated to optimize import plan.
• Manage interface with Trading & Shipping - bp Singapore team; to optimise medium -long term supply program and ensure timely arrival of on spec fuel.
• Maintain supply reliability to highest level with lowest impact on supply network.
• Leading business support teams to effectively manage supply risks, including product quality risks, and provide timely and accurate updates to all relevant stakeholders such as logistics, downstream sales channels, infrastructure, product quality, shipping.
Optimization
• Optimise overall landed cost of product including freight, blending opportunities with minimal demurrage.
• Work with Trading & shipping team in bp Singapore Ltd to maximise value captured from market structure whilst complying with internal and external policies and regulations.
• Anticipate changes in supply, demand or infrastructure availability and coordinate with relevant teams to adapt the supply strategy accordingly.
Leadership
• Lead bp in the industry Joint venture forum to ensure bp’s rights in the agreement are maintained and competitive position is maximised.
Contract Management
• Own the operation of contracts. Have a detailed understanding of contracts and ensures operational are performed according to the terms and conditions agreed.
• Manage and tracks bp’s performance and recommends strategies to optimize value through our contracts.
Stocks and working capital Management.
• Maintain an accurate reconciliation of stock holding in bp and Joint Venture systems to protect supply continuity and limit commercial exposure.
Regulatory Compliance
• Ensure bp complies with all reconciliation, audit, and regulatory requirements, including Customs Declarations and on time payment of Excise Duties.

Stock availability
• Management of ordering process, ensuring accurate orders are raised in a timely manner and delivered into distributions centres in full and on time.
• Managed a team that works proactively and collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to ensure delivery on an aligned supply plan to fulfil 100% of demand just in time.
Inventory Management
• Ensured all team members self-managing inventory performance in line with business KPI targets and quality expectations. Our planning teams developed and put appropriate action plans in place to quickly manage any deviations from target, with the full support of stakeholders to ensure sustainable delivery of plans.

• IMPORT freight /Order management: Managed import orders in accordance with project planning in terms of timely issuance of orders, customs clearance upon arrival and delivery to the respective sites.
• Tracking and managing import container shipments (approx. 1000 containers a year) with respect to timely clearance and dispatch to respective sites avoiding detentions and demurrages.
• Logistics planning of milk runs/ direct shipments to site locations to achieve cost optimization.
• Actively supported the skill development and career growth of Purchasing and Logistics individuals by identifying & arranging training for the development of the staffs.

• Handling the operations of cranes (Crawler, tyre mounted cranes, etc) at various sites across India for wind power/ refinery projects along with my team members/operators for operations of machineries.
- Collecting daily requirements from the site supervisors to keep the machineries running.
- Troubleshooting the maintenance issues by sourcing repairing parts, materials locally/internationally, as quickly as possible, avoiding the down time for the machine.
- Overseeing purchasing activities right from identifying new supplier, price negotiation, delivery terms.
• Stock & Cost control of spare parts required for Crawler cranes/ Tyre mounted cranes/Hydra’s/other Machinery to help the operations run smoothly.
• Shifting of Machineries from one site to other throughout India, depending on where the machineries has requirements and making arrangements for the transportation of the same.
• Liaise with the Company site managers/ Operations head to fix the monthly/quarterly target of the work to be done

• Responsible for handling activities regarding Supply Chain Management involving overseas (English) suppliers & Business Development in North American Market.
• Developing:
- Dealership network across North America for FUWA cranes.
- Marketing strategies for US and Canada to attain a major share in the market.
- As well as implementing sales strategies for identifying and targeting large rental customers.
• Providing assistance in:
- Production planning, manufacturing as well as to the vendors for ensuring availability of material as per production plan.
- Inventory planning and control
• Identifying as well as recommending new product modifications in order to adapt towards the North American market for enhancing market share.
• Shouldering responsibility of promoting marketing activities including Extended Warranties, and Service Training for customers.

Notable Highlights
• Managed to reduce around 8-10% of supply issues, related to ordered quantities as opposes to delivered, wrong/faulty parts supply etc.
• New vendor/ supplier identified: RAM RICK ALBERT MACHINERY, CALIFORNIA; CRANES SALES & SERVICES, New York

• Undergone an internship at AIRBUS UK, in Supply Chain Logistics Department, as a part of dissertation, worked on a Six sigma Green Belt project of ‘Quarantine cage -Root cause analysis’ regarding non-confirming deliveries from the suppliers.
• The project aimed at developing a realistic approach for planning & controlling the non-conformance parts at Airbus warehouse facility.
• The pivotal objective was to identify and investigate the reasons for ‘Why parts go into the Quarantine cage’, it is the place where the non-conformance parts are stored/stocked.
• The investigation involved analysis of the current and historical discrepancy data to identify the causality for discrepancy and its impact on the operations and then to come up with the realistic suggestions for planning and controlling the non-conformance parts.

• Provided assistance in activities regarding procurement of raw material, sub contracting for execution and Logistics aspects of finished products.
• Identifying potential suppliers, sample requisition for quality purpose, placing orders and as well as indentifying new contractors for sub contracting operations.
