• Contribute to improving performance in Sustainability functional areas (Health, Safety & Environment (HSE)/Corporate Responsibility (CR)/Security & Crisis Management) globally across ABB using approved Management Information System (MIS) tool. Support business by applying in-depth specialist knowledge to offer solutions and advice. Assist in the delivery of respective Sustainability function plans and ensure effective risk management through excellence in sustainability.
• Ensure communication of common understanding of the processes documented in MIS modules (including process steps/workflow, visibility of the data) and correct use of the tool.
• Gather requirements/feedback from implementation teams to ensure modules satisfy users’ expectations and reflect ABB Way Management System requirements.
• In the capacity of the MIS project, manage and lead business specialists for MIS deployment, maintenance and support for end users at all levels.
• Consult on all changes to the application with relevant users at testing phase of modules, then implementing fixes and changes along with gathering feedback.
• Alongside communications experts, develop any communications specific to the system.
• Work with IS service delivery team to improve internal integrations.
• Alongside IS Core Project Team (CPT), ensure consistency and future expansion are considered in all modules.
• Develop and deliver training, communications and translations specific to the system.
• Participate in business meeting to present MIS Program road map, answer questions from users and gather feedback.

Project data - Mina Abdullah Water Distribution Complex (WDC-II), project value over KWD 72 million.

Duties and responsibilities -
• Leading the project HSE team for provision of HSE consultancy and advisory services for Mina Abdullah Water Distribution Complex (WDC-II), which is a mega project for Kuwait's Ministry of Electricity and Water (MEW) involving over 24 sites and around 20 subcontractors.
• Performing site audits to identify gaps from Group Instructions and company subscribed international standards.
• Contractor management including monitoring HSE compliance and handling non-conformance issues according to relevant procedures and international standards.
• Assurance of effective risk management i.e. contribution to risk analyses, identification, and assessment processes.
• Conducting HSE specific trainings and site safety induction sessions on regular basis.
• Attending daily coordination meetings to categorize all activities being undertaken for issuance of permits and participating in tool-box-talks according to the daily activities with follow up monitoring of site activities and recording any incidents.
• Conducting daily site inspections for ensuring safe working environments.
• Contributing in SOTs according to management preferences, in addition to creating the SOT monthly schedule and following up with management.
• Carrying out incidents investigations to identify root causes for determining corrective actions and preventing recurrence.

(3) Mechanical - installation of piping accessories like pumps, MV/LV motors and valves, piping spools (flanges, elbows and fittings), piping fabrication (16 - 96"), coating, pressure testing, lifting and installation of surge vessels, chemical plant commissioning and operation etc.

Projects - within Kuwait Oil Company (KOC) Planning and Mechanical Maintenance Contracts for Production Facilities in South and East Kuwait.
- April 2007 until July 2009 in Operation Technical Services team South and East Kuwait (OTS S&EK)
- July 2009 until June 2011 in Maintenance Support and Reliability team South and East Kuwait (MS&R S&EK)

Duties and responsibilities -
• Involvement in planning activities including modification of teams’ organizational hierarchy and amending KPIs in-line with overall strategic targets.
• Supporting the Integrity Management Task Force team emphasize the roles and responsibilities of various teams through forming a Demarcations Guideline for facilities across Kuwait.
• Conducting risk assessments, preparing Job Safety Analysis (JSA), and reviewing method statements for different jobs to identify safe systems of work.
• Participating in safety audits, physical inspections and safety tours to improve the organization’s performance.
• Contribution in incidents (i.e. accidents and near-misses) and dangerous occurrences investigations to determine root and underlying causes.
• Assisting the review of contracts, invoices, in addition to service and adjustment orders with the Contracts department.

Duties and responsibilities -
• Managing HSE matters including waste disposal management and handling of pharmaceutical products.
• Managing the safe supply of pharmaceutical products and medicines to various branches through specific channels of distribution across Cairo.
• Carrying out periodical checks and inspections of fire alarm systems and fire extinguishers.
• Conduct and supervise emergency evacuation mock drills.
