· Responsible for the effective supervision and administration of the Facilities Engineering Branch including budget preparation and monitoring, development of capital improvement plans, purchasing and financial transactions, preparation of reports, performance management, employee relations, prioritizing and assigning work and related activities.
· Serves as project manager on major plants and utilities projects, identifies, researches, and recommends project needs, plans, and scope of work, drafts
requests for proposals, assists in selecting contractors.
· Monitoring work performed by contractors to ensure that contract plans, scope and specifications is being followed, oversees project inspections, interprets contracts, resolves conflicts, and negotiates contract changes as appropriate, reviews and recommends invoices for payments.
· Representing the main line of communications with the Client and the Consultant.
· Attending meetings with the Client, End User and the Consultant during the course of contract to review construction progress and resolve in collaboration with the participating parties all outstanding issues.
· Communicating and contacting with external Consultants, independent inspection or testing companies, owner representatives and project management for any outstanding project management issues.
· Coordinates, develops, and recommends long-range plans pertaining to the maintenance, rehabilitation and new construction of Electro-Mechanical plants, water distribution storage tanks, pumping stations, and related appurtenance
· Ensures the safety, security, and regulatory compliance of all work assigned.

BMS specialist, Reviewing shop drawings and material submittals, Also responsible of site supervision and testing and commissioning of the BM System of the entire project.
Reviewing and familiarizing the project Contract, Specifications, Drawings, Standards, Codes, local regulations and the standard Professional Consultancy Services Agreement.
Managing and controlling all construction activities to ensure the satisfactory implementation of the Contract conditions.
Representing the main line of communications with the Client and the Contractor.
Attending meetings with the Client, End User and the Contractors during the course of contract to review construction progress and resolve in collaboration with the participating parties all outstanding issues.
Communicating and contacting with external Consultants, independent inspection or testing companies, owner representative and Contractors for any project management issues.
Evaluating and controlling the project overall performance, quality, time frame, resources.
Releasing the project for taking over to the Client.

About Project: The construction of a Maritime workshop for the Alexandria port.
• Duties :
• Ensure all activities carried out according to company standards.
• Ensuring that all assigned work is completed on time and within agreed budgets .
• Daily coordination with Section Head, Foreman, Surveyor, Quality Inspector, Client, W/S Foreman, for the effective management of the works.
• Responsible in the field for planning the work schedule for the coming (week, month).
• Enforces work on the site carried out according to latest approved (drawings, specifications, method statement, program of work)
• Provide daily and weekly progress reports to the Section Head of the construction team and giving all the information required for the works.
• Control the performance of workers and equipments to reach best performance of the project plan in cost control.
• Ensure efficient documentations and transfer of all client requirements and technical requests avoiding any further misalignment in the project output
• Prepare all activates method statement according to ACI and B.S
• Guided the draftsmen in the preparation of shop drawings.
• Building Management Systems Engineer.
About Project: Controlling and operating the mechanical and electrical equipment of the main plant rooms serving the San Stefano Grand Plaza complex, also monitoring, operating, troubleshooting, maintenance scheduling and giving reports for the plant rooms operation including the BM System it self.
Plant rooms Equipment:
3* 1350 ton chillers + 1* 850 ton chiller.
3 cooling towers.
1MV (11KV) substation serving 8 MV/LV (11KV/380V) substations.
6 Hot water boilers and 16 softner tanks for central hot water system.
