Job profile: As a Senior Manager- Contracts Administration, directly reporting to Project Director and Vice President- Contract Administration & Commercial, I am posted in the site office at Bangalore, Karnataka, India, leading the team of construction managers, contract administrators and a group of technical team. I am responsible for initiation, planning, organizing, execution, monitoring & controlling and closing out of all project works including contractual and techno commercial activities.
 Initiate, direct and monitor design team for design development and ensure proposed design are based on performance, functional specifications and capture any technical issues including initiation for necessary rectification/ revision before proceeding further.
 Coordinate and monitor the technical team for preparation of tender bid documents including building specifications, drawings and bill of quantities for subcontract works.
 Review and prequalification of subcontractors for tender bid invitation. Also, monitor bidding process and finalization of subcontractors.
 Monitor subcontracts are finalized timely as per procurement plan and construction schedule.
 Direct and monitor site team for periodic audit of subcontractor’s process, progress of work, quality of work, Health & Safety requirements, labour resources, material availability, etc. are as per project requirements and initiate necessary remedial action.
 Direct and monitor site team for efficient coordination among the subcontractors to achieve project completion as per schedule. Also, monitor the subcontractor’s progress as per the base line program and emphasizing on completion of the critical path activities as per schedule.
 Direct and monitor change management register including planning, direct execution, monitoring and controlling changes at site.
 Coordinate and monitor the preparation of requisition for variation order/ claims to the client, updating variation order/ claims approvals and subsequent issuance of variation order/ amendment to the subcontractors. Review impact of variation/ delays on completion time and budget including initiation for necessary mitigation activities.
 Monitor weekly progress status reports; prepare, update and distribute overall weekly performance status reports and attend weekly progress meeting with the client, top management, site team and subcontractors to review, analyse, resolve commercial and non-commercial issues arising from the projects.
 Prepare, update of risk management plan and risk register. Initiate risk mitigation plan when necessary.
 Monitoring clients and subcontractors billing cycles, submission of payment request to clients and issuance of payment certificates to the subcontractors.
