I have through strategic research, collaboration and benchmarking developed cost effective and sustainable local process and procedure to ensure full compliance. Accomplishments
Enhanced QSHE strategies has improved Quality and safety culture across board; incidents reporting increased by 74.6%; man hour loss due to incidents reduced by 87.4% between June 2013- February 2014. Associated medical bills has reduced from a quarterly average of US$ 35, 000 to US$ 8, 200. A milestone of 60, 000 man hours without downtime in 5 years achieved. Fines by regulatory authorities due to non compliance within QSHE reduced by 94.8% amounting to US$ 28, 000. I led due diligence team as regards safety features and process instrumentation for design and construction in purchase of a macro incinerator. This resulted in CAPEX saving of US$20, 000.The incinerator adjudged by the authorities as one of the best around in safety integrity has yielded net profit of over US$ 51, 000 in first month of operation.

QA/QC Supervisor Instrumentation and Control at Master Energy System, Port Harcourt (Privately Held)

In collaboration with SGS Inspection Services conducted QA/QC integrity and premob for all process instruments (Shutdown Valves(SDV); Pressure Control Valves (PCV);Flow switches (FS); Level Switches (LS); Temperature Transmitters (TT); Flow Transmitters (FT)) etc for the tank farm upgrade. Furthermore I supported and supervised all instrument calibrations ensuring all instrument installation on product tanks and transfer lines were in conformity with engineering design.

Accomplishments
Proficiency in supervision coupled with high collaboration and leadership skills showcased
in influencing my team to a cohesive and high performance workforce ascertained by major stakeholders including the Project Controller. This led to a perfect implementation of policies, procedures and guidelines. The result was 105 man hour savings valued at US$ 3, 770. Also early start-up of operation after the commissioning meant earlier and more income for the company

Research Assistant at University of Malaya

Basis, develop carbon footprint of University of Malaya (UM) (#1 and 156 ranked in Malaysia and globally), Malaysia from energy use and waste management practices. Develop strategies for exterminating the 4 tonne biodegradable MSW daily landfilled; also limit the about US$ 1 million monthly electricity bill paid to Tenaga Nasional BHD (TNB), power provider with source over 90% fossil domiciled. Major stakeholders were University of Malaya Department of Development & Estate Maintenance (JPPHB), Low Carbon Committee, Zero Waste Campaign, Ministry of Energy, Green Technology and Water.

Accomplishments
I became the first individual to estimate the carbon footprint from energy use and waste management practices for UM. As the only foreigner among 3 research students in the Low Carbon Committee comprising 11 Professors my role delivered potential 12% reduction in energy usage through proposed strategy. This could save over US$ 75, 000 monthly upon full implementation. Also MSW study showed waste to energy (WTE) potential about 190.7 MW annually and a corresponding landfilling cost saving of about US$ 150, 000. A case study of UM main library with a total floor area (TFA) of 19, 031m2 showed potential to avert over 600 tC02e per month.

Accomplishments
Trained 118 personnel. This has helped avert issues of de-roofing of floating roofs and pollution from leakage of product from bond walls in PHRC tank farms due to monitoring instrument
failure and workforce inefficiency. This is aggregated at about US$ 475, 280 for potential repairs
apart potential fatalities. Also compensations, medical bills and industry regulatory fines due to such incidents are almost eliminated.

No fines or sanctions by regulatory authorities were recorded as against average of 4 times yearly, aggregating to an average yearly savings of about US$ 11, 380.
