Currently working as an Electrical Engineer in Abu Dhabi Distribution Company (ADDC). I'm currently stationed in Electricity Division, Public Lighting Department. My tasks are supervising, organizing and managing maintenance plans (Preventive & corrective) as well as the development of the Public lighting network in the central region of Abu Dhabi (Abu Dhabi Island). I'm also responsible of supervising and managing three different contractors who does the entire corrective and preventive street light maintenance work as well as network development. I handle the department's GIS maps, work order generation, payment approvals, contract renewals and clearance approvals.
Worked in the Vocational Education and Training Institute which was founded late 2008 and it's a project financed, supervised and owned by Abu Dhabi Educational Council (ADEC) and managed by the German Technical Cooperation (GTZ). My job was to develop and support the marketing strategy of the institute as well as creating a known and prestigious brand as a member of a multinational marketing team. One of the other main objectives was to contact and attract local employers from different governmental and private organizations to arrange working and training opportunities for our students for a proper career development plan.
A full time job during the summer vacation and my responsibility was purchasing all the material and equipment required for founding the new vocational training institutes in Al Ain and in Western Region. The objectives were to construct the procurement lists for the different departments, contacting vendors for quotations and preparing LPO's, Evaluation forms and Contracts.
