• To optimize the inventory of different raw materials (Cement, Aggregates, Admixtures…etc.) improving the profitability of the project.
• To ensure proper allocation of supplied quantities to the different sites of the project to facilitate cost allocation for the cost control department.
• To Supervise and manage a vast transportation network (6 cement trailers - Banana Trucks, 20 Truck mixers, 2 fixed concrete pumps, 2 mobile concrete pumps, and 6 loaders) plus a huge, subcontracted number of trucks to transfer the raw materials from Cement factories to Silos to Batching plants and finally to sites.
• To guarantee the high performance of the patching plant equipment (Two Batching plants BETP with 72 cubic meters per hour normal capacity and two other plants ELBA with 100 cubic meters per hour normal capacity) by carrying out the routine maintenance programs and any repairs required. Also to be responsible for dismantling/transportation/ re-allocation of the Batching plant equipment as per the project requirements.
• To establish a control system to monitor the inputs and outputs of each Batching plant and the consumption of each site from each plant.
• To maintain a good relationship with suppliers and at the same time to make sure that each item has more than one qualified supplier.
• To participate and guarantee the easy flow of work between the project's different departments.

Accomplishments:

• To be one of the first local employees to hold this post replacing expatriates.
In 2001, we celebrated the production of One million and five hundred thousand cubic meters. With the highest monthly concrete production rate achieved in the Middle East.
