As one of the reputable interior fit-out companies, the role is comfortable with all aspects of commercial duties i.e. tendering, pre-contract, Post-contract, claims, etc. and the management of all project activities from inception to completion.
• Setup of progress and invoicing structure. Monthly evaluations, invoicing and payment expediting.
• Liaise with client on all commercial issues.
• Manage the commercial department day-to-day activities.
Specialist subcontract preparation, negotiation and administration.
• Cost projections and forecasts.
• Preparation of project budget and project cash flow forecast, including monitoring and updating as necessary.
• Preparation of monthly cost/profit forecast.
• Preparation of final payment applications to Client, including the identification and evaluation of variations and claims and negotiations for final settlement of same.
• Preparation of Sub-Contract enquiry documents including Bills of Quantities incorporation standard terms and drafting of special conditions
• Reviewing of Sub-Contract tenders, supply quotations including negotiation of prices and recommendation of awards.
• Oversee the purchasing of all permanent and temporary works materials to ensure the most cost effective materials are bought and that they are within budget
• Liaise with site staff and design team and review “for construction” information to locate and thereafter evaluate the cost and value of all variations
• Advise of potential “claim” situations.
• Operate the project cost control system.
• Provide commercial assistance and advice on prospective value engineering measures.
• Maintain ERP through different departments in the company.
