Heading the Electrical Engineering division. Supervises the unit activities, Co-coordinating for the maintenance of all 33/11KV, 11/0.415KV substation, 1, 500KVA, 1000KVA, 700KVA generators, Electrical service installations, pumps, power control panels, cooling system etc. Manage Electrical Engineering projects, co-ordinate for Electrical automation and instrumentation design. Manage power and Renewable energy installations (MGE Galaxy UPS, Schneider 11KV sf6 switch gears, ABB power distribution Panels, SIEMENS power transformers, Cummins Generators and Stanford alternators, OUTBACK sine wave inverter, Solar panels). Perform Electrical services design of capital projects.
- Using AUTOCAD to prepare electrical services drawings and specifications.
- Manage Electrical project schedules and budgets valued over 210Million per annum.
- Make engineering calculations in connection with field and office assignments.
- Ensure compliance with Electrical Engineering safety requirements and standards procedures.
- Prepare requests for proposals and tender, evaluate contract bids. Coordinate for services and maintenance of all electrical equipment i.e. transformers, power panels and controls, lighting installations Auto Transfer switches and HV and MV power substations.
- Participate and co-ordinate for the maintenance of conveyor lifts in the 12-stories Unity Bank Head Quarters building,
- Created and presented economic feasibility Studies on Electrical power projects.
- Performed quality assurance and control. Coordinated Electrical power installations projects with other departments, contractors and consultants.
- Directed, prepared, and reviewed Engineering contract documents and specifications, making modifications and recommending alternatives as needed.
- Exercised cost control, monitored schedules, investigated problems and recommended solutions.
- Perform preventive and routine maintenances of all the HV and MV electrical equipment in the 17-stories BON Head office building.
