As a Contract Manager my objectives are to oversee and manage contracts for the
company in accordance with company objectives and procedures, planning, costing,
safety, security and management of contract staff, subcontractors within the supply chain
on multiple contracts/projects for the company.

My duties at my current position are:
• Managing multiple contracts to achieve financial, safety, quality, and environmental
targets.
• Pre-contract planning and liaison with estimators, and quantity surveying,
• Planning, developing project plans, establishing criteria, and scheduling tasks.
• Coordinating with design and implementation teams, project review with
stakeholders.
• Providing quality input to regional management and planning meetings.
• Compiling contract plans, safety plans, method statements, risk assessments and
other instructions to contract teams.
• Delegating duties to engineering and contract staff.
• Accepting, approving, and issuing orders and instruction.
• Maintaining a working knowledge of current contract forms, acts, and legislation.
• Accepting, approving, and issuing contracts to subcontracts
• Ensure company Health and Safety and procedures are complied with.
• Ensuring CRM database regularly updated with contractual information.
• Liaising, negotiating, and meeting with clients, consulting engineers, surveyors, and
sub-contractors.
• Assisting with the preparation of quality bids, PQQs and other presentations as
required.
• Provide technical, contractual, and legal advice.
• Completion, submission and archiving of contract records.
• Procuring, ordering, and approving materials, plant and subcontractor purchases
• Providing accurate information for regional monthly contract appraisals and other
reports as required
• Budgeting, monitoring, and control of contract finances
• Identifying, evaluating, and managing claims and variations
• Compiling applications for payment and agreeing final accounts
• Maintaining a working knowledge of employment legislation
• Conducting and monitoring of staff performance and training reviews
• Instigating suitable training and development for both staff and operatives.
• Motivating, coaching, and providing guidance to staff.
• Interviewing, selection, recruitment, discipline, and dismissal of staff.

Volunteering at local refuge organisation, helping the refuges and asylum seekers to
integrate with British society, proving interpretation service, discussing work and
education possibilities, organising workshops and activities.

Responsible for the control of all aspects of site work including quality, safety, environment and
technical.

takes appropriate actions / decisions, preparation of bids, negotiation with clients and
procurement of materials, management of site records and all policies and processes,
providing contractual or professional advice in chosen field, ensure processes and adhered
to owning problems and identifying solutions.
Report to senior estimating manager, with an objective to estimate the value of project
being tendered as part of business development. Responsible for scrutiny of tender
documents, evaluating tender documents & drawings, floating enquiries to suppliers /
manufactures, comparison studies based on supplier quotations, negotiations with
suppliers on both technical and commercial aspects of products, based on client budget
constraints for any specific project, carrying out value engineering studies.

As Graduate Engineer, I am responsible for Site foreman and operatives, ensuring the
health and safety procedures and regulations are followed and enforced through
continuous training and inductions, Representing Company at meetings, Maintenance of
contract program, Cost control, Man management, Complying with SHEQ procedures and
relevant legislation, writing Method statement and Risk analysis, and Ensuring
professionalism and quality is maintained throughout all activities.

As a Site I was responsible for the progress of work and health and safety on
site, quality control and control of work shipman, control of sub-contractors, client liaison,
and use of AutoCAD to produce as build drawings.
