Scope of Work
The Project comprises the construction and upgrade of section of Rayyan Road from West of Olympic
R/A, to West of New Rayyan R/A at the east end of the scheme, together with the construction and upgrading of associated side roads and service roads. The total length of the improvement scheme is approximately 5.5 km plus 6.0 km of side roads, associated service roads (approximately 11 km), minor Junctions and structures.
The scheme will provide in general a varying vertical alignment with four traffic lanes in each direction (plus turning lanes at junctions) with a dividing median along Rayyan Road. There will be a total of six interchanges:

Extensive Extra High Voltage (EHV), High Voltage (HV), Medium Voltage (MV), Low Voltage (LV) electricity networks, Street lighting, underpass and structure lighting, Q-Tel, Vodafone and Qatar National Broadband Network, Qatar Armed Forces (QAF) network, Ministry of Interior Security System Department network (MOI-SSD) etc.

Scope of Work
The Lusail Expressway program involves the reconstruction and upgrading of the existing Lusail Road from south of Al Wahda Street (Arch Roundabout) to the North Canal Crossing totaling approximately 5.3km in length. The project includes three major interchanges and dual four lanes serving the new development areas in the north of Doha. Existing major development areas such as The Pearl and Katara will also benefit greatly from the project with improved interchanges and better journey times for residents, businesses and visitors to the area. With its network of tunnels, flyovers and junctions, the Lusail Expressway responds to future traffic demands and delivers a modern road network that will connect people and places with speed and ease.
As a Resident engineer facilitate the interface with the Contractor/Resident manager for prompt decision making and successful project execution.
Recommending for the approval of cross-sections of road, method statement, bar bending schedule, shop drawings and construction material. Checking methods and quality of workmanship and materials as per Contract, implementing QMS, HSE plan, Specifications and SCTP Circulars, To check setting-out of all parts of work, record the discrepancies observed and report to R.M. Making note regarding site problems and forward to R.M. To make coordination between Contractor and Client, organizing duties of Engineers, Monitoring progress of work according to contract schedule and report to R.M. Coordinating between concerned departments regarding removal of obstructions, Preparing progress report, minutes of meeting; Issuing site instruction, dealing with client and contractor.
I am also responsible for supervision of 2.6 kms long and 40 mts wide ROP air strip and its site development for storm water drainage system at AL-AJAIZ which is situated forty kilometers away from Duqm.
