Key Result Areas:
Responsible for management of Instrument Maintenance Department.
Responsible for day to day Predictive/Corrective maintenance, breakdown & shutdown job in a safe and environmentally sound manner.
Design and Drawing review for Field Bus System, Distributed Control System (DCS), Programmable Logic Controller (PLC), optical fiber communication system, etc., witness testing of instrumentation / control systems, preparation of FAT/SAT procedures for 20MIGD RO Desalination plant.
Recommends solutions and implements appropriate corrective action for major or complex maintenance issues.
Trouble shooting & maintenance of Distributed Control Systems (SIMATIC PCS 7, Invensys Foxboro I/A Series System) / Mark VI Speedtronic control system / Allen Bradley 1769 CompactLogix™ control system / Field Instruments etc.
Review of drawings which include P & ID, Cause & Effect, loop drawing etc. for in house projects.
To coordinate & supervise Instrument maintenance activities with other departments by confirming HSE policies.
Ensure full conformity of E&I equipment with safety standards and calibration compliances, and manage control program. Lead immediate corrective actions if non-conformities are detected
To prepare budgets & plan to monitor/control expenditure for maintenance.
Participating in HSE program, Safety Audit Programs, Competency Programs of staff on all instrumentation maintenance issues for continuous improvement in maintenance performance.
Ability to propose, train, develop and promote persons to improve service efficiency
