• ROV’s focal point.
• Contact community’s leaders/representatives in the communities to establish early rapport and provide overall orientation of the project.
• Mobilize, interact and dialogue with target population through home and field visits;
• Assist community members to identify needs and to generate solutions, identifying priority issues and to analyze their problems;
• Encourage and stimulate community members to self-organize for mutual help and basic emotional support;
• Develop trust, tolerance and co-operation among community members;
• Assist the community in obtaining information and knowledge of and access to available relevant services through outreach activities;
• Encourage and stimulate full participation by all community members; with special attention to those who are usually forgotten, marginalized and overlooked in community decision making;
• Assist the Social workers with the activities for the target population if required;
• Work to identify and support community focal points/settlement representatives; to participate in ongoing protection monitoring activities and follow-up;
• Conduct baseline survey of the beneficiaries to establish baseline data of the community; on some key indicators to measure impact of the project;
• Cooperate with the Social workers in development of a clear work plan for the community services and community mobilization activities.
• Refer protection cases to case workers and other NGO.
