Managing store team and day-to-day store operations in accordance with the company SOP, and to ensure commercial of the store by increasing its sales turnover and maximizing profitability.
• Tamimi Market is a 24/7 Market and there are 3 major shifts .
• Responsible for Night shift to prepare the store before 7 am for business rush hours
• Responsible for ordering in F.O.R for major 700 Core Articles which is fast moving
• Close coordination with the suppliers to maintain the stock in hand
• Special focus on the Fresh departments to minimize the shrinkage and maximize the GP
• Weekly audit category wise to check the expiries of Edible Grocery items to avoid Baladiyh Penalties
• Part of Cross Merchandising team to boost the sales of slow moving Items
• Bring the potential customers onboard Like small and medium level Restaurants by giving a complete solution under one roof .
• Enhance the floor sales by giving alternate article suggestion .
• Responsible for the availability, visibility and a proper display of the products to the assigned accounts
• Manage and provide leadership to the merchandizing team to develop the product.
• To report the reginal store manager in the smooth running of the store through effective management and development of staff ensuring store operations were carried out at all time.
• To define the team vision setting goals and also celebrates performance success as goals are met and exceeded;
• Recommend and participate in all management decisions including talent assessment, performance management, recruitment and development;
• Co-ordinate training to staff to ensure all employee are trained in procedures such as opening and closing, returns, cashiering, customer services .
• Drive the implementation of the company programme by developing actions plans and directly motivating and instructing the staff to implement them in a right direction to meet operational and organizational objectives;
• To coach associates on the implementation of visual merchandise guidelines and ensure all areas of the store are neat and clean, organized and operational.
Responsible to deliver a monthly sales target of 13 million based upon key account customers.
Maintaining and handling of a portfolio of key corporate clients in industries and institutions.
To approach the customer using the METRO selling techniques and all the customer solutions that company provides.
To collect and to communicate the key customer demands, needs and expectations and then to propose solutions that the company provides.
To analyze the results (weekly, monthly, quarterly) of the customers in terms of turnover, frequency, average buying in order to propose the action plan to improve the situation.
Responsible for market research and market analysis for new assortment building, own brands, price comparisons and for what the competitors are doing.
Sales forecasting, sales planning for next months and responsible for new cstomer development
Responsible for receivables.
To work in close contact with store especially with department manager and buyers.

• Developing strategies for FOOD & NON FOOD traders
• Price collection (adhoc) price checks
• Price comparison of FMCG, SCO’S & HORECA core range articles from local Market and Modern trade (Makro, Hyperstar, Al-Fateh, HKB)etc
• Price recommendation and price implementation of FMCG, SCO’S & HORECA core range articles
• Competitor analysis & cross check of price accuracy
• Market Intelligence such as trade offers, trade promotions & new product launching From The Various Companies
• Metro Post Price recommendation after every two weeks
Strong Liaison with the Offer management and Buying Team.
Managing day to day operations of the distribution.
