The team within the security business unit is engaged in a highly business critical and market sensitive effort to enrich their next-generation threat defense product offering. The window of opportunity is small and clearly defined, and the objective is to achieve feature-parity or beyond with the competition and expand market share as customers go through a technology
refresh cycle. Needless to say, business and revenue implications are huge and the team is working full throttle to leverage the market opportunity. Agile has been embraced as the delivery methodology for its clear advantages in customer proximity and time to market, and an organizational transformation to Agile delivery methods is underway. My charter is to coach over 26 teams and their leadership in this transformation, in a technologically and geographically complex product environment, and enable a seamless, comprehensive, low-overhead Agile method for the team that delivers on all the promised advantages.
