As part of the integrations team, developed inbound and outbound interfaces between SAP and other systems mainly in the area of FSCM. Strong exposure to ESR and ABAP proxy framework, IDOC development and enhancement framework. Configured SAP AIF for interface monitoring and error handling. Worked with the PO team and helped other team members in issue resolution

Built a custom interactive tool that allows a pricing manager to build multi-level pricing relationship of articles known as Super Price Family to overcome limitations of SAP standard price family. Articles are grouped based on merchandise category within the Super Price Family structure. Tool allows pricing relationships to be maintained based on configurable gapping rules.
Designed and developed the core pricing engine that calculates prices for articles based on family structure. Standard BAPI for price calculation was used and extended to add custom fields. For price calculated by the engine, the tool provides managers capability to approve, reject or change the price on an interactive decision screen. The pricing tool framework was design and developed using object oriented ABAP. Most interactive screens involved use of ALV grid with generated dynamic columns based on user selections. Used object oriented programming extensively.
Collaborated with internal team members to address various technical challenges and overall design decisions. Maintained tracking and statuses of all tasks assigned to the development team. Handled all FUT/UAT issues tracking and resolving using HPQC. Guided junior team members in solving technical issues and help complete tasks

Objects developed include:
Implicit enhancements in SD billing, delivery and shipment transactions.
User exits for functionality when processing inter-company idoc posting.
User exits in standard sale order processing.
ALV detail and summarized reports in QM module with dynamic internal tables to display values and range of inspection characteristics for inspection lots.
Routine for output control condition type, that triggers pricing condition update based on sales document release status.
File upload programs to create Quotations and Sale orders using BAPI.
BDCs for pricing condition records update via VK11, Material standard price update via MR21.
Sales Register report in ALV grid format capturing data from SD, MM, FI tables.

Grasim Industries SAP ABAP Consultant: Nov 2012
The client’s business includes manufacturing of synthetic yarn, cement, chemicals.
Specific task for this project was to modify the standard process for GR and Invoice to be AS11 compliant, such that document date is used to determine exchange rate for currency conversion instead of posting date.

Applied OSS notes to transactions MIGO and MIRO and made additional changes to extend the functionality to specific country codes. Implemented standard BADI FI_TRANS_DATE_DERIVE as per note.
Also implemented BADI MRM_HEADER_CHECK for generating popup in MIRO to alert users to enter bill of lading date in the invoice date field

The client is in the business of manufacturing textile yarn. As part of the implementation team was responsible for ABAP development work. Participated in discussion with process owners for requirement gathering. Developed medium to highly complex ABAP programs in FI module for Accounts Payable, Withholding tax processing etc.
Using custom control, developed ALV grid based report programs with editable fields to allow user input and subsequent posting of FI documents. ALV allowed grouping of records to allow merging several grid lines into single document line.
Developed a custom program to post provisional TDS (tax deducted at source) entries for Service entries without invoices.
Developed program to manage TDS exemption certificates provided by vendors. The program allows user to maintain table entry for each certificate and allows upload-download functionality of the TDS certificate in PDF format to SAP-DMS without having to manually save documents through CV01N. Used BAPIs BAPI_DOCUMENT_CHECKOUTVIEW2 and BAPI_DOCUMENT_CREATE2 to achieve the functionality.
Developed a group of programs to manage agent commission with functionality for payment of commission to agents, Tax deduction, Reversal of commission before and after Tax deduction. These programs update a common Z table with processing statuses and document numbers for reporting purposes.

Developed a program for interest calculation and posting debit notes to customers for interest amount. Interest rates are maintained in Z table. Payment term is used to calculate due date and overdue days. User is provided option to waive interest.

Developed programs in C# in .Net framework using Visual Studio to build an interface to hand held bar code scanner. This program can then be triggered from SAP for exchange of files between Scanner and SAP.
