My role involves reporting to the production supervisor and reporting any plant issues, following complex routine procedures to find appropriate solutions to optimise production issues and complete effective hand overs of ongoing work/procedures. Condition monitoring of production equipment, to carry out any first line maintenance or Flir camera area surveys for any hydrocarbon releases and reporting defects by raising work orders using Maximo and subsequently signing them off once completed. Other resopnsibilities would be to create Isolations when required by the Operations supervisor and act as performing authority for workscopes. Other general duties within a busy asset would involve daily H2s sampling from turret risers and hydrocarbon zones and BS&W, OWOB analysing.

My role involves following routine procedures while working alongside BP staff and other contractors to find appropriate solutions to optimise production issues and complete effective hand overs of ongoing work/procedures. This includes regularly performing and delivering dynamic risk assessments, condition monitoring of production equipment, (GOC), Flir camera usage to perform area surveys, reporting defects by raising work orders on Maximo and subsequently signing them off once completed, as well as many other general duties within a busy platform

My Role as a valued member of the deck crew was not limited on suppling logistical support to various departments on the platform, through planning and organising in preparation for supply boat operations and helideck operations. I would carry out lifting operations as delegated banksman and conduct this in a safe and controlled manner while following the platform lifting operations procedures and PTW system.
