Principal Instrumentation & Control Engineer.
● Main duties: Lead subordinary team to achieve cost and schedule targets. Review and report progress to meet deadlines. Preparation of input to design change notes to recognize/manage changes to the base design and project base estimate. Provide Instrument Engineering Expertise and input to development of studies and Front-End Engineering Design activities. Define instrument requirements for technical scopes related to project. Originating, checking and approval of Instrument engineering & design deliverables including procurement deliverables (e.g. specification, datasheets, scopes of work). Provide support to HAZOPs/HAZID’s and other technical reviews as required. Resolve instrument related engineering issues by applying accepted principles, codes and standards, including vendor codes and standards. Provide support for inter-discipline considerations. Prepare instrument input to estimate for project required modifications.

Detailed design stage. Responsible for design, specification and services related to control systems including basic process control systems, safety systems, control panels, analyzer systems, telecommunications, field instrumentation, valves etc. Technical evaluations and clarifications of received bids. Vendor documentation review. Preparation and checks of material requisitions, instrument data sheets, control narratives, I/O schedules. Undertaking site surveys as required. Contribution to interdisciplinary technical discussions and provision technical recommendations.

Define functional and detailed designs for DS - Bently Nevada machine protection and condition monitoring systems. Verify, and develop, if necessary, the proposed technical solution as required by the project specification. Lead factory acceptance tests (FAT) and coordinate with other teams during testing activities. Interact, as necessary, with customers, suppliers, and cross-functional teams, and provide timely communications on relevant project issues or developments. Lead onsite installations. Perform SAT (Site Acceptance Tests). Ensure project technical execution is within budgeted cost and schedule.

Provide Instrumentation engineering expertise and support to construction. Provide technical solutions to site queries from contractors and subcontractor to prevent any disruption due to engineering issues associated with general instrumentation, F&G, HVAC, PAGA, Fixed Gas Fire Detection, Extinguishing and Deluge systems. Provide Technical input to Commissioning Test Procedures. Perform technical walkdowns to oversee installation progress to ensure compliance with construction schedule. Perform engineering deliverables checks.

Pre-FEED, FEED activities. Contribute to EPCm integration process. Prepare requisitions and technical documentation for field instrumentation and package systems, perform the technical evaluations for ESD and Control Valves, Analyzers, LG’s, PT’s, PG’s, TT’s, RO and FE, etc.

Executing assigned scopes of work. Supporting and supervising task delegation to team. Providing I&C engineering expertise to projects interacting with other disciplines, contractors, to deliver BP CAT C projects and modifications. Instrumentation engineering deliverables preparation and check for assigned projects to ensure high quality of issued documentation. Contribution to project cost estimation and plan preparation.

ICSS healthcare and modifications engineering support of existing control systems across offshore platforms.

Engineering support to offshore operations. Performing of installations and modifications. Driving EQ (Engineering Query) and eMOC (Management of Change).
Performing equipment breakdowns investigations and RCFA (Root Cause Failure Analysis). Custodian and deployment of new condition monitoring technologies to minimize equipment downtime and reduce intrusive maintenance. Deployment of new technologies to ensure systems high level availably and reliability. Engineering support of 8 offshore platforms, BTC (Baku Tbilisi Ceyhan) and SCP (South Caucasus Pipeline) pipelines. Project’s coordination up to Execute and Operate stages. Systems commissioning. Business Proposals evaluation and Technical Review/Assessment.

Deployment of standardized remote asset monitoring system (ICSS/CCTV/Gas cameras) solution across AGT Region (Azerbaijan, Georgia, Turkey) by design preparation, equipment installation and commissioning. Operations support and maintenance. New users training.

Installation, configuration & maintenance of network equipment (Cisco, RAD), administration of Wi-Fi Hotspot’s (Cisco Aironet, Motorola Canopy), Billing control.

Monitoring of associated network equipment, computer hardware & client-server software. Resolve user problems. Supervision of PBX maintenance & repair. Computer training of new & existing employees. Installation and maintenance of servers, cabling, socket termination and patch panels Etc.
