Recently employed as Commissioning Project Manager seconded to DCK worldwide at Cap Juluca, Anguilla, Caribbean, providing MEP expert advice and supervision at this critical phase of project close-out, liaising with the project engineers and contractors to deliver the MEP systems as per the OPR. Prior to this position, managed the fully intrusive MEP survey of the American University of the Caribbean, St. Maarten, delivering a fully comprehensive report which included red-line as built drawings, discrimination studies, site observation reports and defect summaries.
Previous projects include, Phase 1B Msheireb City mixed use development in the heart of Doha. Responsible for leading a team of engineers and managers in the commissioning management process from static completion to 3rd party witnessing and consultant approvals. Developed strategies and procedures to ensure a smooth flow with approvals whilst liaising with commissioning specialists and contractors.
Employed as Commissioning Project Manager. Worked on the King Faisal Specialty Hospital project, Riyadh, managing the ELV and overall stand-alone systems integration. Implemented Test and Commissioning procedures for Alec JV on the Festival City Shopping Mall, Doha. Carried out a complete front-end design review including the MEP specifications for Aecom for the Mall of Oman project.
Employed as Commissioining Manager, taking overall responsibility for the testing and commissioning management of several projects in UAE and Gulf region. Developed Commissioning Activity Schedules (CAS sheets) and Programmes and managed the delivery of the MEP systems from static completion through functional stand-alone testing to fully integrated system testing.
Employed as MEP Project Manager as part of the overall Project Management team at Oasis Hospital, Al Ain and Masfout Hospital, Ajman.
Employed as Electrical Manager for the LOGCAP III project, providing logistical support to the US military in Baghdad, Iraq. My main duty is the management of the Electrical Department, made up of 20+ employees. Tasks performed include; Facility Maintenance, Scheduled Inspections and Testing of electrical systems from power generation and distribution through to the facilities and end user. It is essential to be proficient in both British Standard and American NEC as both standards are implemented. Reactive Maintenance and Emergency Response are common due to the harsh environment and unique conditions throughout theatre. Safe working practices in accordance with OSHA are strictly enforced and it is necessary to ensure quality with every task performed, surveillance audits are conducted regularly by myself and the QAQC Dept. Customer satisfaction is also a priority especially with Division HQ as the facilities and personnel are considered to be of very high importance. Recently, I have managed the successful closure of electrical services on two bases and a technical inspection project for the transition of facilities from the military to the state department for the LOGCAP IV project post 2011.
