Play a vital role as a member of the Senior Management Team (SMT) in terms of operationalizing logistics plans in
alignment with strategic initiatives of Jordan and HO offices. My role is majorly focused on the following functional
areas:
Strategic Logistics Development and Tactical Management
• Provide a strategic leadership role over the logistics department in terms of strategy formulation and reviews
in alignment with different field operations and strategic direction requirements
• Systemize quality assurance procedures to strengthen the overall supply chain including procurement,
forecasting/quantification, Logistic Management Information Systems, Fleet, Inventory Management, Partner
vetting and risk management
• Support coordination with partners logistics team in tracking and advising on compliance aspects
Overall Procurement Management
• In addition to overseeing procurement processing, I hold an authoritative role to disseminate technical advice
on best practices on all aspects of procurement
• Support HQ when required, such as selection and contracting of transportation agents, custom clearance,
reception for international supply, identification of capacity building and required deployments for surge
support.
• Maintain an accurate procurement documentation system across Jordan mission in accordance with
ACF/donor guideline, in order to ensure concrete readiness for audit and to assess and report to management
any needs for derogation
Risk and Quality Management
• Maintain a preventive, proactive and responsive system manage risks of fraud and corruption within logistics
functionality through ensuring appropriate internal controls and monitoring mechanisms
Team Leadership and Management
• Apply situational and result-based team leadership to ensure that the logistics team are supported to deliver
quality services through comprehensive talent acquisition, and performance management

• Played a strategic role in shifting and activating the decision-making mandate of the Supply Chain Department
by identifying gaps and proposing development strategies to senior management such as structuring and staff
capacity building, which vividly elevated the response to meet the quality of programming.
• Provided overall management of the Supply Chain Department, ensuring effective and timely completion of
all procurement requisitions and other support functions (Fleet, Asset Management, and Administration) in
compliance with DRC and donor policies and procedures.
• Significantly ensured proper application and rollout of the supply chain module in Microsoft Dynamics 365 ERP
system in Jordan country office and acted as a super user including training of staff and troubleshooting
problems.

• Managed day-to-day/overall procurement operations in line with diverse programmatic requirements, whilst
ensuring compliance with NRCs procurement policies and procedures, donor rules and regulations
• Led team members to efficiently manage major tendering and contracting processes.
• Led major analytical tasks through monitoring trends, identifying gaps to support the continuous development
of local procurement tools, systems and procedures to best contribute to efficient PCM within different
programmes

• Sourced a diversity of appropriate suppliers and contributed to the development of tenders and framework
agreements for the procurement of goods / services related to construction activities to ensure meeting the
requirements of efficient shelter programming
