Responsibilities
• Lead production facility of 12 paper converting machines and 130 workforce/ Generate production budget against annual sales budget in translate to per machine SKU wise, manpower allocations, and overall raw material required volume.
• Prepare monthly production plan as per revised sales demand; define strategies to achieve machine efficiency, output per labor head (OPLH) and wastes targets.
• Coordinate with Logistics and Commercial department to develop solid production plan.
• Create and issue concise Daily Production Plan defining SKU to be produced, each target output, per shift, specifications. Communicate to Team Leaders, Quality Assurance, Technical and other relevant departments.
• Develop and maintain in house per machine computerized system for Team Leader's shift results data entry; consolidate to generate timely daily production reports.
• Provide Daily Production Monitoring reports to evaluate shift efficiency, throughput, OPLH, and wastes generated.
• Carry out Daily Operation Toolbox Meeting, review shift results against daily and month to date targets. Enhance awareness on Safety, Health, Environmental, Risks and Quality (SHERQ)
• Empower Team Leaders via Self Managed Work Team. (SMWT) principles and guidelines.
• Motivates personnel thru incentives, breaking the record scheme, awards for best suggestion and practices and outdoor recreational activities. Coordinate with HR department regarding training derived from personnel performance enhancing individual competency.
• Supervise factory accounting in transferring finished goods using Oracle E Business Suites.
• Periodic review of production results, personnel appraisals as per defined KPIs.
• Interface results to immediate superior and head office online Technical Dashboard Meeting.

Accomplishments
• Attained optimum machine efficiency, capacity and tonnage output by 10% annually (with minimum CAPEX investments)
• Improved cost of manufacturing by reducing production expenses of minimum 5% against Finance defined budget.
• Enhanced product availability; reducing out of stocks across all profit generating SKUs.
• Waste reduction by an annual average of 3%.
• Development of production planning and monitoring system in Excel and later incorporated to Oracle System E Business Suite
• Availability of online machine data pertaining to shift efficiency, output and other relevant parameters, enabling real time evaluation and monitoring. Consolidate results to act on response, corrective and preventive actions.
• Implementation and compliance to Self Managed Work Team (SMWT) within 6 months against target of 1 year.

• Implement, maintain and continually improve Integrated Management System (ISO 9001:2000, ISO 14000 and ISO 18000. Adopt Key Performance Agreement (KPA) and implement all plant operating procedures and work instructions.
• Internally develop Plant Maintenance Databank System and Overall Plant Inventory Management System.
• Improve personnel teamwork and tailored training programmes of all personnel as well as balance score card system.

Accomplishments
• Attained annual savings on reduction of waste water generations by improving process conversion and best practices.
• Compliance with all legal requirements of Jebel Ali Free Zone Authority.(Inspection. Reports for Trade Licenses Renewal.
• Execution of 5 major raw materials storage tanks in accordance to Jebel Ali Environtment, Health and Safety (EHS) and Engineering Department.
• Reduction of manpower from 80 down to 32 workforces devising internally mechanized system for manual labor dependency.
