Estimate the quantity and costs of materials
Review architectural plans and prepare quantity needs
Prepare the tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities, with the architect and the client.
Track any changes to the design or actual work and adjust budget projections.
Analyze progress and write detailed reports.
Liaise between site managers, project managers, site engineers and the client.
Value completed work and arrange payments to subcontractors.
perform risk, value management and cost control during construction
Preparing plans and sketches ( shop drawings and as-built drawings)
review tender documents and contract to be able to follow up on materials required.
Preparing & updating projects’ Bill Of Quantity, Cost Estimation
Responsible for preparing baseline time schedule for bid.
Also identifies
the critical activities in the Time Schedule, and identifies the top 20% of
BOQ items contributing to the tender price
Visit site and record information about access, measurements, drainage
and topography.
Work closely with designers, decorators, architects and constructors
