Key Responsibilities:
To review project scope, specifications & compliance following the network requirements as
responsible and project lead from material submittal to project energization.
To perform the network load flow, Short circuit, voltage drop and protection coordination
studies using Etap and Schneider Electric software for equipment sizing and protection
coordination parameters.
To design complete Protection, control and Interlocking Schemes as per network needs.
Responsible to get approvals from consultant/customer/client for base design, schematic
drawings to manufacture the panels following the project milestones.
To lead the meetings with consultant/customer to validate the techno commercial aspects of
projects and to highlight the Variations from original scope if applicable.
One of the best Etap user among my team engineers and performing these studies regularly
for different projects MV/LV networks. Presently working on Etap 19.0 version.
To Prepare the Data Sheets for MV/LV switch gear, Oil Type and Dry Type transformers as
per IEC-60076 and as per customer specifications.
To review and to answer for all technical queries received from customer/consultant.
To make the Heat Dissipation and AC/DC load calculations for the supplied switch gear.
To size the Battery and Battery charger for the switchgear as per customer specification.
To prepare CT/VT list, Relay list and meter list for project specifications and requirements.
To design/size the CTs and VTs as per project specifications and requirements.
To coordinate with suppliers in case of Equipment coming from Schneider (Global) other
than Schneider KSA e.g. Flusarc, LV/MV VFDs, Soft Starters, Oil type/Dry type
Transformers, APFCs and Harmonic Filters.
Lead the Transformer standardization for Dry Type Transformers.
Active support function for sales, marketing, tender and site teams for any technical query
related to our product line following project and IEC specifications.
To deliver trainings /knowledge sharing sessions to colleagues and other departments if
requested.
I have hand on experience for the following Schneider Electric Products in addition to my analytic
abilities to understand electrical networks.

Worked as team lead for Dharan South 380/115/13.8 KV Substation.
Scheduling the site activities for team of seven engineers, monitoring the progress for each
engineer and reporting to manager for progress and planning.
Supervise the Installation of 115KV Hyundai make GIS switch gear and actively participated
to resolve the site issues.
Scheme Check of 115 KV GIS (Motor Circuits, Control Circuits, Interlock Circuit, Close
Block & Trip Block, Annunciation & Scada Circuits).
Scheme Check of 115KV Mosaic Control Panels involving Breaker control operations, Trip
circuits Check and 13.8KV switchgear (Incomers, Bus Tie, and Feeders).
Complete site Testing and commissioning of 50/67 MVA Hyundai make Power Transformer
(Tests includes TTR test, Winding resistance, insulation resistance, insulation power factor
tests of transformer winding and bushings, Short circuit impedance, zero sequence,
impedance, Oil breakdown test and gauge calibration).
Testing of 1.5MVA, 13.8/0.380KV Station Transformers STC MAKE.
Jubail-2 Sub-3 230/34.5KV S/S
Testing of 100/133 MVA, 230/34.5KV Power Transformers. (Tests includes TTR Test,
Winding resistance, insulation resistance, insulation power factor tests of transformer
winding and bushings, short circuit impedance, zero sequence impedance, oil breakdown test
and gauge calibration).
Contact Resistance test of 13.8KV switchgear
Testing of 1.5MVA, 34.5/0.380KV Station Transformers.
Testing of 230KV GIS CT using CT Analyzer.
Key Responsibilities:
To prepare optimized Costing and Data Sheets for Inquiries & Tender purposes as per the
specifications given by the customers.
To prepare Transformer Data sheet and Costing sheet (BOQ Sheet) as per customer
requirement for Bidding and Tender.
To make complete Electrical Design of all kind of distribution transformers against the
specifications provided by clients both for local & foreign industry up to 33 kV.
To attend the design review meetings to work out the issues raised by the customers.
Studied in detail various IEC standards regarding Design & manufacturing of transformers.
Team leader of Design & Manufacturing of transformers for the Pre-qualification of Saudi
Electricity Company.
Team leader for the manufacturing of all WAPDA rating transformers for type testing.
Participated as technical coordinator during Technology transfer from Pauwel’s Group.
To witness the type tests of distribution transformers performed in HV & SC Laboratory
RAWAT, Pakistan.
Investigating root causes of failures in transformers and suggesting preventive measures to
control the rework & rejection.
Expert in maintenance and trouble shooting of distribution transformers.
