Conduct a thorough review on the outputs to ensure that the client requirements have
been met. Analyze reports, maps, drawings, tests, and other data to plan and design work. Plan, schedule,
conduct, and coordinate program of assigned engineering work and projects Ensure that the projects have
been done as per the latest applicable regulations and the referenced international standards. Continually
review the sub-contractor’s construction schedule during the progress of site works with regards to MEP
services and report to the project Director on the same. Monitor the progress & quality of the (design /
workshop) drawings prepared by the (sub-consultants / Specialists) and control the adherence to the
committed schedule of delivery. Ensure proper interdisciplinary coordination and effective communication
on the different sites. Where required prepare technical clarifications to the tendered design to suit specific
on-site construction and co-ordination issues.
Take part and cooperate in putting the Engineering Department policies and objectives.
Endorse submissions; lead the coordination and discussions; and follow up on projects implementation.
Inculcate value engineering as part of the entire process. Ensure proper interdisciplinary coordination and
effective communication on projects. Maintain/validate the adopted specifications to perform regular review to
ensure its integrity and suitability of the specified project. Attend kick off meetings with project
directors/managers. Attend meetings with the Clients and the project managers to resolve and propose
solutions for technical outstanding/ disputed issues. Attend site meetings in terms of engineering related
discussions and proposals.
Manage the day to day work of the HVAC team. Supervise and evaluate the performance of all personnel in the project. Advise the Project manager of any technical aspects of the mechanical services that may affect construction progress, e.g. quality or snagging. Conduct the HVAC procurement process. Manage the project Schedule. Understands and works to budgets for relevant work sections. Follow up the project payments. Attend the different project meetings with the client & the main contractor to follow up the progress & quality of work.
Prepare the Tendering Documents. Ensure that the filing/logging of the projects documentation is undertaken in line with the projects handbook and continually monitor the same. . Prepare the Workshop drawings. Continually review the sub-contractor’s construction schedule during the progress of site works & installation method statements and their adherence to the Quality Plans. Manage the payments to the sub-contractors and from the client.
Ensures that timely and accurate information is available to the Project Manager and achieves tasks within timescales identified. Support & monitor the foreman and the installation team of the company. Manage the Sub-Contractors. Insure that the Procurement process had been initiated & follow the material delivery to the site. Ensure that HS&E plans are being followed.
Check the design of In Hand jobs. Follow up the material delivery to the sites. Preparation & leading of Testing & Commissioning process. Preparation of As-Built drawings.
