QC Roles & Responsibilities:
 Reviewing the approved QC procedures, ITP, Quality Plan and scope of work to perform the required inspection.
 Receiving piping isometrics, support drawings & details and Verification of isometric dawning with respect to P&ID.
 Raising RFI’s in QMIS to notify Saudi Aramco PMT and PID as per the scheduled time of inspection.
 Responsible of fabrication and erection of piping work as per drawings and specifications.
 Issuance of Non-Conformance Report for materials and works if there is any deviation from procedures, codes, specification or standards/ it will impact the quality requirements.
 Check and identify preventive and corrective actions done at site & close non-conformance reports once the non-conformance has been rectified.
 Visual, Dimensional, Fabrication, Erection & Hydro testing Inspection of Pressure Piping (ASME B31.3 Process Piping & ASME B31.8 Gas Transmission and Distribution Piping Systems).
 Familiar with the American institute standards such as ASME B16.5, ASME B16.47, ASME B16.9, ASME B16.11, ASME B16.34, ASME B16.20, ASME B16.21, ASME B36.10, ASME B36.19, ASTM A106, ASTM A312 & API 5L.
 Exposure in Saudi Aramco Standards (SAES, SAEP, SAMSS)
 Carried out inspection on various pipeline activities like pipe bending, stringing, lowering, cleaning and gauging.
 Receiving inspection and acceptance to customer supplied materials & contractor supplied materials such as Pipes, Fittings, Flanges, Gaskets, Valves, Bolts & Nuts as per requirements of the Client Specifications.
 Review of material test certificates as per Codes, Standards and Client specification involved in the inspection of the valves and other piping components.
 Verification of Material Storage and Preservation system.
 Familiar with fit-up of piping and pipelines for dimensional accuracy and material being used against drawing/specification requirements.
 Socket joint gap checking as per the ASME B31.3.
 Inspecting gaskets like ring, spiral wound, PIKOTEK, asbestos, rubber types.
 Reviewed Calibration Certificates of Manual Bolt Torque Wrenches & Hydraulic Torque Wrench.
 Inspection of all bolts and nuts threads are in good condition, and molykote applied properly.
 Inspection of flange face, gasket installation & Flange joint assembly / Manual & Hydraulic Bolt torqueing.
 Preparation of Hydro Test Package.
 Verification of documents for test packages included P&ID, isometric dawning, SIS, welding Summary, Instrument Calibration Certificate, Test Equipment Data Sheet, Water Analyses Report and all reports for hydro test.
 Conduct walk through at construction site for inspection of line check as per ISO / P&ID drawings and to raise the punches (A /B).
 Ensure correction or completion of punch list items & release for test.
 Witnessed Hydro tests of Plant Piping systems & spools.
 Verifying Pipeline water filling, Temperature Stabilization, Hydro test Hold time and Pressurized Records.
 Witnessing Preparation and inspection of Hydro testing of valves (body and seat)
 Monitoring Post Pressure Test requirements included Draining and Disposal of Hydrostatic test waters and Drying activities & Removal and Reconnection of Components.
 Inspection of gaskets, supports, valves prior to line reinstatement acceptance as per the latest drawing for construction, codes and specification standards.
 Re-instatement punch listing and clearing the items.
 Clearing of MCC (Mechanical completion certificate) items.
