Mainly used to reduce torque and drag while drilling especially in highly-deviated, deep wells.

⇨ On the rig:
- Made up the protectors
- Monitored the protector's condition at each and every trip to replace the damaged ones.
- Provided daily technical reports to my managers including current depth and operations, BHA, drilling parameters (HL - WOB - Slack/ Pickup/ Rotating Wt. - RPM - ROP - Torque), mud properties and mud circulating parameters.

⇨ In the workshop:
- Refurbished the protectors and tools as needed to maintain their functionality.
- Operated a forklift to handle boxes and other equipment.

My First Job (Jack-Up - Offshore Rig):

⇨ I spent approximately 140 days on Shelf GSF-141:
- Within that period, I spent about two months collaborating with the HALLIBURTON MWD team:
- Gained valuable knowledge and skills in MWD/LWD fundamentals, including:
- The ability to build a Pulser and mitigate vibrations.

- Collaborated with Baker Hughes fishing engineers for two months and witnessed approximately 33 fishing runs using various fishing tools, including fishing magnet, string magnet, jars and pulser subs, tapered mill, string mill, ITCO SPEAR, overshot, and boot basket.

- Gained extensive experience in the SCHLUMBERGER Wireline Perforation unit
- Witnessed PICO-Mud-Engineers tests and learned a lot from them.
- Assisted in the company-man office, ensuring the driller applied the pre-set plan and helping with the drilling daily report (DDR).
