Key Responsibilities:
• Overseeing loan extensions and approving credit applications by ensuring customers provided the facility possessed the desired level of credit worthiness.
• Keeping continuous liaison with customers to keep them informed about the various documentation requirements to be fulfilled in order to smoothly process applications.
• Proactively monitoring the housing market to develop strategic alliances with different market partners in order to develop demand for the mortgage market.
• Carrying out in-depth and detailed financial statement analysis to determine paying ability of different business organizations of varying sizes interested in availing the credit facility.
• Proactively monitoring the loans already extended to ensure timely payment has been made as per the agreed upon payment schedule.
• Forwarding chronic late payment customers’ details to the recovery department to initiate a suitable action as per the situation.
• Building strong business relationship with customers by identifying their business needs and accordingly offering them with financial products which would adequately fulfill their requirements.
• Reviewing current lending policies in light of bank’s regulations and local banking laws to provide suggestions for improvement in order to reduce business risk.
• Taking care of other banking tasks including negotiations with customers, swift credits, guarantees, and bills receivable.
