The Education Abroad Program Officer (EAPO) works primarily in student affairs in the Education Abroad Department. The EAPO is responsible for all aspects of student apartments, transportation, visa and residency processes, equipment management and is involved in organizing and implementing extra-curricular programs, excursions, emergency assistance, maintaining files and databases, and communicating directly with students. S/he assists with maintaining student well-being, including serving as a cultural resource for adaptation into Jordanian society and addressing student concerns. he is available as a safe contact for students to ask questions
1. Organize production, design and recommend purchase of instructional materials, training kits, equipment, supplies and visual aids designed to meet students’ educational needs.
2. Supervise and follow up on the purchasing and financial processes (including count sheets) for the required stationary or curricula for the kit assembly or production process.
3. Assist in organizing orientation and training for volunteers, students, staff and partners.
4. Assess training needs for INJAZ stakeholders through surveys, focus groups, or consultation with volunteers, Teachers or student committees.
5. coordinate and following up on special programs such as TEAM and Art link.
6. Assist in all unit’s logistical issues and details.
Attract, recruit, retain and follow up with volunteers to implement INJAZ’ programs.
