• Knowledge and understanding of the company's policy governing the workshop's operations.
• Knowledge and understanding of the heavy equipment and engines OMM instruction, to obtain optimum utilization and trouble free operation, and the best operational cost.
• Implementation of Occupational Safety and Health requirements according to international standards such as OSHA regulations.
• Improve the efficiency and effectiveness of productive service staff, by helping in hiring the best service engineers and technicians, train and develop them. And to spread the spirit of the teamwork.
• Concern to develop and maintain the service`s facilities.
• Provide the service staff with a library including the technical information and references, such as shop manuals, parts books, spare parts catalogs and service bulletins.
• Guide and provide the technical support for the service engineers and technicians.
• Managing the technician’s tools, special tools and service vehicles.
• Managing the operation of the service department, from getting the customer complaints and inquires, sorting of Job Site and Workshop, provide the customers with the inspection charges, getting the customer approval, getting finance approval, assign the technicians, performing the inspection, estimate the repair, performing the repair.
• Managing the workshop documents from opening the job cards, technical report, time sheet, field allowance, issuing the PO of bought out, and sublet. Filing and registration of all this documents. Then closing and invoicing.
