United Arab Emirates Border Guard Senior Advisor Lt Colonel with UAE Armed Forces 2006 -2015
Currently advising and coordinating approximately 1000kms of border, employing various military Contract Officers who provide their training experience and expertise for the Emirate Officer’s and Soldiers to enhance their operational effectiveness, working collaboratively with a civilian advisory team.
Key achievements
• Fully integrated with strategic planning on all security of the Border, delivering advice to the Border Guard Commander on all operational projects; dealing with illegal aliens.
• Successfully managed all areas of advice and assistance to the Border Guard Command;
• Enhanced the effectiveness of Border Guard’s operational capability;
• Called upon previous experience and where applicable, SAT methodology, to design training courses to raise the standards of Border Guard operational performance and professionalism;
• Advised Border Guard Commander on all training matters applicable to Border Guard Operations;
• Held seminars on current standards and operational efficiency;
• Assisted and advised on Unit Level Standard Operational Procedures to the British current doctrine;
