• Responsible for all of the dispatching, routing, and tracking of delivery vehicles.
• Selecting and maintaining vehicles in order to keep deliveries and distributions on schedule and within its established budget.
• Set up maintenance schedules to ensure each vehicle is kept in top condition.
• Reporting directly to Commercial Manager and Managing Director
• Coordinating with Suppliers and consignee providing them support for any transportation related problems (documentation, custom clearance & route permissions )
• Attending management meetings and recording of minutes to apply them as discussed during the meeting
.
• Planning/organizing inventory considering project requirements and optimal stock levels, evaluating purchasing activities to maintain uninterrupted flow of materials.
• Supervising all inventory management and control functions/procedures, including to establish critical re-order points for materials with due consideration to stores cycle for each material, consumption rate and critical of the same.
• Overseeing the maintenance of perpetual inventory system to ensure adequate stock levels, timely delivery and identification/disposal of dead stock (obsolete, damage and faulty stock).
• Drafting RFIs (Request for Inspection), receiving and inspecting all incoming materials to verify conformity with company quality standards/order specifications.
• Organizing proper storage, material handling and record control in storage area. Maintaining safe inventory levels within the range of high/low request orders.
• Monitoring inadequate inventory levels and reporting discrepancies in inventory control to the quality, production and purchase departments for further decision making.
• Coordinating with auditors for conducting quarterly/annual audits, providing accurate information on inventory management practices of the department and submitting non variance commodities report to the upper management.
• Directing and monitoring the activities of the transporters, to ensure timely goods of materials to other stations, within the scheduled deadline.
