• Ensuring timely update and progress report of the PO and coordinate with Purchasing Section and Shipping expeditor to improve delivery times, cost and quality of materials from vendors.
• Coordinating with production and warehouses sections to maintain continuity in respect of supply of materials to support the production schedule and operations
• Any other duties that may arise accordingly to fulfill the role of Procurement & Logistics Manager.
• Supervise the entire process of Shipping and offloading Vessels Cargo (Bulks), reviewing and follow up needed Documents arranging Clearance and Land transport till Final Deliveries.
• Following up and Supervise trades with other companies for bulk shipments
• Handle operations of all carriers i.e. Sea, Air, Land, Trouble Shoot all issues of Loading, Transshipments and Final Deliveries.
• Supervise the entire process of shipping logistics for purchase orders and sales orders.
• Processing and following with production to meet the shipment on time for all the export orders.
• Prepare / Reviewing Quotations / Freight Memos / and Issue Invoices & shipping documents.
• Review all sales contracts in terms of what are required to import and export goods to assure the right compliance to the Customs Law, import regulations, Inducements Laws and trade agreements where applicable, etc.
• Following up with the shipping lines to trace all the imported & exported cargoes and with the local transport company for the same but to the locally supplied & delivered materials. .
• Communicating the progress of each import and / or export shipment to all concerned parties.
• Organize Land Transportation for inbound and outbound. LCL/FCL shipments, coordinate multi point loading and monitor the movements
• Liaise with Shipping Agencies / Carriers / Lines for competitive rates and services
• Interface with ports, customs and external Inspection authorities for documentation, goods clearance and other routine matters.
• Facilitate shipment status update to customers through Monitoring Movements from Origin to Destination.
• Co-ordination and support to Sales team and Accounts personnel in their activities.
• correspondences such as memos and notices for cancellation and renewal.
