Set up and calibrate nondestructive testing equipment’s and Conduct tests to ensure quality or
detect discontinuities (defects) using NDT methods of inspection
Establish techniques for proper examination of objects under inspection, ensuring strict
adherence to safety regulations.
Apply testing criteria in accordance with applicable specifications or standards and evaluate
results.
Involved as NDE Inspector with various projects performing RT, MT & PT on Pressure Vessels,
Pressure Piping, Tubes, Pipelines, Boiler Tubes, Heat exchangers, Turbines, Structures,
Equipment’s and related piping, Storage Tanks etc.
Radiographic inspection on pipes, brackets, plates and base plate on boilers as well as pressure
vessels and Interpretation of radiographs. Film interpretation as per acceptance criteria and film
development in dark room.
Organize and report test results
Welding &Quality Control Inspection
Carrying out Material Inspection, Dimensional and fit-up inspections, Weld Visual Inspection,
Welding Surveillance, Verify correctness of welding consumables and proper baking and storage
and Documentation as per different material standards.
Set-up and calibrate NDT Equipment and to provide clear and concise NDT reports.
Well versed with the following, Specification Standards and Procedures, working knowledge of
applicable industry codes and standards: (ASME, ANSI, API & BS EN) for QC & NDT Inspection of
Structural, piping, pipeline, etc. BS EN, ASME-II, V, VIII and IX, ASME/ ANSI B31.1, B31.3, B31.4
and B31.8, ASME B16, AWS D1.1, ASTM, API1104, and NACE etc.as applicable.
Inspection of welding visually and using gauges.
Inspection of joint fit-up and welding process.
Reviewing of approved Welding procedure qualification (WPS) & Procedure qualification record
(PQR), carry out /witness the PQR & Welder Qualification Test (WQT).
Familiar with Welding Processes like SMAW, GTAW, SAW, FCAW, GMAW and most used
materials like Carbon Steel, Low Temperature Carbon Steel, Stainless Steels and Alloy Steel etc.
Familiar with Fabrication /Construction Drawings, Piping Isometrics drawings etc.
Prepare all necessary Welding documents

Review IFC P&ID's, ISO's & vessel drawings to ensure appropriate WPS are referenced with weld details
and overall accuracy.
Monitor Piping and Mechanical operations and conduct required inspections work to resolve quality
related issues with workers, subcontractors, and the client
Communicate with management, staff, and clients the requirements of quality's scope of work.
Verify that all site activities comply with the quality codes and standards.
Coordinate with area sales group on all quality issues and distribute relevant QC/QA documentation to site
sub-contractors.
Provide appropriate feedback to management regarding QA/QC matters. Develop inspection and test
programs. Timely completion of paperwork and piping and mechanical turnover binder.
Coordinate quality site inspections with all site sub-contractors and vendors, coordinate all nondestructive
testing on site, and monitor the implementation of the approved site QC plan.
Inspect / review product material, weld quality and testing to ensure compliance with code, standards,
specifications and QCM. With Witness all pressure testing; finalize testing documentation.
