FMCG category to Medical device & Pharma Products. Currently I am working as Manager at
its International Business Division.
I have been involved in managing some of the Key Accounts like IDA Foundation:
(Netherlands), Mission Pharma (Denmark), Public Health & Medicine Fund (Georgia), Aids
Healthcare Foundation (USA), National Health Service (UK), Helm GmbH (Germany), LMB
Technology (Germany), Sugand SAS (France), Euro Sirel (Italy), Imres (Nederland), ACTO
GmbH (Germany), Behzad Medicals (Bahrain), Al Arifi (Yemen), PT Prima (Indonesia), Zans
Africa (SA), Wagenia Congo (Congo), Nepal Red Cross Society (Nepal).
Key Responsibilities included;
Developing new markets, Planning and implementing export strategies. Selection and
appointment of distributor. Launching & registration of products in to various countries.
Participation in international trade fairs/ exhibitions, Buyers Meets, attending e-mail
inquiries and finally securing orders for company.
Represented company in many
international exhibition independently including Medica (Dusseldorf), AATM Nepal, iPHEX
India.
Managing existing key international clients account, timely replies to inquiries,
preparing the quotations / proforma invoices,
providing various after sales support.
Planning of Sales objectives and reviewing on a time frame basis.
Monitoring the payments & receivables.
Coordination with production and Suppliers, to ensure on time production as per
client’s requirements.
Arranging internal and external inspection.
Costing & Export Pricing to set the price with suitable pricing strategies for different
export markets.
Supervising Pre & Post Shipment documentations and Coordination with government
department exports incentives & operational issues.
Logistics; Communicating with shipping line, negotiating for competitive freight and
confirming the best suitable logistic option for mutual benefits (importer and company).
M/s Meenakshi Coir works is a home furnishing company engaged in production & exports of
various kind of Door Mats. I was involved in business development and General export administration which includes, appointments of distributors, registration, coordination with suppliers, arranging smooth & timely shipments, registration with export promotional councils.
M/s CCM (Charankatu Coir Mfg.) is a leading Home Furnishing company based in Kerala southern state of India, their product ranges includes Door Mats & Carpets. CCM is also a member of IECA (Int. Erosion Control Association) & the largest exporters of Geotextiles from India which are used as Erosion Control Mechanism.
At CCM I was responsible for export business developments for all products. I was handling
some of the key clients including JYSK (Denmark), Merida Meridian (USA), Cost plus World Market (USA), ABC Carpet (USA), Thulica AB (Sweden), Relianz AG, Jute & Co Italia (Italy), Samur Carpet (Turkey), TEPC (Australia), Nishoku Corp.( Japan), FAB India etc.
I could represent CCM in many international exhibitions including DOMOTEX (Germany), Autumn
Fair (India), Heimtextil (Germany), IIGH-Spring (India) and several other conference & exhibitions on various occasion. Apart from business development, I could also get an opportunities to involve myself to various other export related activities including logistics, licensing, export commercials etc.
