As an ELV Engineer,

 My dedicated responsibilities include co-ordination with all disciplines, managing and assisting in installation, termination, configuration, testing & commissioning and maintenance of ELV & Electrical
 Supervision on-site as per the shop drawings and its specifications.
 Close co-ordination and managing group of Supervisors/Foreman’s on allocated task considering all safety and quality requirements.
 Conducting Safety tool box lecture (DSTI) to my team to enforce safety regulations for all individuals.
 Reporting my superior on all non-conformances being observed where quality is affected on recent EI’s revisions.
 Preparing the Weekly and Monthly progress reports and assisting my team to complete the balance work to reach the project target schedule.
 Testing of high resistance cables using Megger and ensuring the system healthy.
 Raising Work Inspection Requests (WIR) with highlighted SD & Test/Survey reports for consultant to inspect the completed works.
 Knowing the Consultant comments status with QC personnel in order to achieve required Code of approval for the completed works.
 Responsible for providing the input to QS for Weekly/Monthly payment applications.
 Notifying the damages caused to QS and given input to them to prepare ASR and DSR for cost claim.
 Estimating the Shop drawing to place order on the required materials for both current as well as for future usage.
 Check the material as per the standard and as approved by the client (MSDS).
 Coordinating BOQ with client and finalize the classification of material.
 Coordinating submission and approval of materials & shop drawings to consultant.
 Arranging the approved materials by coordinating with Procurement and frequent follow-ups with direct suppliers until the materials unloaded at Site.
 Updating the drawings as per the site installation condition and providing the same to design team in-order to prepare the As-built drawings.
 Precise co-ordination with all trades, Startup job and carrying out pre commissioning activities.
 Acquiring Work Permit for Power Rooms so as to achieve successful ATP’s work completion.
 Monitoring the system after commissioning and doing system troubleshooting and providing support whenever required.
 Responsible for various other duties as needed.

As a ELV Engineer in the Site activities, I hereby holding the responsibilities of :

# Gained knowledge & Experience in the field of Supply, Installation, Testing & Commissioning of Fire Detection & Fire Alarm Systems (both Addressable & Conventional), Fire Hydrant Systems, Down Comer System (Dry Riser), Fire Sprinkler System, Fire Extinguishers & Refilling ISI Mark, Fire Safety Equipments, Closed Circuit Television (CCTV) System, Servicing & Maintenance of Fire Safety Systems, BMS and AMC of all above Systems.
# My dedicated responsibilities include Installation, Configuration, Testing & Commissioning of systems devices and to Hand-over the site on stipulated time by coordinating the Manpower.
# Managing & assisting the installation on site and arranging the required facilities for project’s success.
# Familiar with the requirements of drawings, specifications, schedules and budgets for the works under our direction and co-ordination in the field.
# Carrying out the inspections and handing over of completed works. In addition to coordinate amongst different disciplines.
# Reporting to my Manager on all non-conformances being observed where quality is affected on daily basis. Proposing and taking preventive and corrective actions and measures at site, so as to improve the quality, safety and construction progress.
# Check for the delivery of materials is as per the standard and as approved by the client and also as per the safety standards.
# Coordinating replies by client in case of changes to be made in the work on and before completion.
# Precise co-ordination with all trades, Startup job and pre commissioning activities.
# Ordering the Installation material required for fixing the system.
# Offer feasible Solutions to reduce time usage and quality outputs.
# Monitoring the system after commissioning and doing System Troubleshooting & Support when required.
# Giving Training to the client and proceeding for getting license for finished work from Fire & Safety Department of Tamil Nadu.
# Coordination in carrying out with final handing over process and payment settlement with the client after successful Testing & Commissioning.

# Proficient knowledge and Experience in Low Current Systems like IP CCTV, FIRE Alarm, ACS, PAS, MATV, IP TEL & DATA, UPS and Fiber-Optic Systems etc.
# Major responsibilities include Installation, Configuration, Testing & Commissioning of Low Current Devices and to Hand-over the site on stipulated time.
# Managing & assisting the installation on site and arranging the required facilities for project’s success.
# Familiar with the requirements of Shop drawings, specifications, Schedules and Budgets for the works under our direction and co-ordination in the field.
# Carrying out the inspections and handing over of low current Works. In addition to coordinate amongst different disciplines.
# Reporting to the Project manager on all non-conformances being observed where quality is affected. Proposing and taking preventive and corrective actions and measures at site, so as to improve the quality, safety and construction progress.
# Check the material as per the standard and as approved by the client.
# Coordinating BOQ with client and finalizes classification of material.

# Making necessary changes in the drawings and reviewing as-built drawing as per the site conditions, ordering the Installation material required for fixing the system.
# Offer feasible Solutions to reduce time usage and quality outputs.
# Testing and Analyzing UTP & STP cables (Cat6, Cat6A, Cat3, Vise Patch, 110block), Fiber optics (OTDR and Power Loss Test) by Fluke Test (DTX-1800).
# Monitoring the system after commissioning and doing System Troubleshooting & Support when required.
# Giving Training to the client.
# Having good exp. in Testing and Commissioning of Security systems (Access Control & IP CCTV), Tel & Data communication systems, Structured Cabling System (SCS), Fiber Optic Structured Cabling System, Telecom Equipment Rooms (TERs) and Telecommunications Room (TRs) for proper environment, equipment and cable installation.

As a Project Engineer in the Electrical field, I underwent on taking the responsibilities of :

#Erection of cables, HT and LT panels.
#Testing of high resistance through cables using Megger.
#Installation and Commissioning of transformers (say 1000KVA, 2000KVA)
#Frequent charging of transformers is done by coordinating my team members.
