Witnessing the welding and assembly of steel truss components, Verifying the documents related to all activities in the Inspection Test Reports as per the Bridge welding Code AWS D1.5.
Witnessing all lab tests related to steel truss in the Third-party Laboratory.
Quality check for the 3-coat paint system.
Formalizing the method statements, welding procedures, Welder Qualification records, Test requirements for materials used in the project as per the standards, SPMT operational procedures, Risk assessments, etc.
Design review on various steel station structures for Dubai metro Red Line
Extension(EXPO2020)
Preparing the Connection Design and Shop drawing review for steel station structures & Auxiliary Structures for Dubai metro (EXPO2020)
o Document review and submission of all technical submittals relating steel
structures
o Shop drawings, Connection report and Model review for the steel connection
submittal.
Review the activity Method Statement, Quality control Plan, ITPs, Risk Assessment and Material submittals to ensure compliance with Project Specification
Support for Site Construction Team on on-going issues and providing solutions and ensure Project deliverables as a Technical Engineer.
• End to End Coordination with sub-cons including RFQ’s, BOQ’s, RFI’s, FCR’s and all Technical submittals from the procurement process till Installation of structure
• BIM coordination with sub cons and Project BIM team
• Co-ordination with Structural Architectural and MEP Works
• Attending Progress meeting with subcontractor and Construction Team
• Reviewing technical Queries, Variations, Contractor Payments, Certificates etc.
o Dubai Municipality Approved G+12 scaffolding and formwork Designer
o Designing of various types of scaffolding and formworks solutions including H20 beams, Props, Alu formworks, Cuplock systems.
o Providing designs for Access scaffolding considering wind calculations
o Designing of BIRDCAGE scaffoldings, Single side wall formworks, Double side wall formworks and Columns
o Preparation of Drawings, Calculations, MOS, RISK assessments.
Responsible for various types of RCC buildings Analysis and Design both via
software and manually. Design of OH Tank, Brackets, Concealed beams, Sump
Tank, Retaining wall for buildings etc.
o Preparation of the structural design calculations, drawings, specifications and
other tender documents.
o Participation in design progress meetings, design review meetings and design
coordination workshops.
o Ensure senior staffs are kept informed of important and relevant design
decisions and the objectives of clients are achieved.
o Responsible for the check prints on steel truss of 15 community skill parks,
o Quantity Estimation and Preparation of BOQ.
o Plays a vital role in the implementation of ESTIMATION software.
o Detail study of Construction Drawings and Supervision of Field Execution.
o Planning, Scheduling and monitoring the site works.
o Preparing Weekly and Monthly Reports about the work progress.
