• Oversee the Engineering submissions and deliverables and prepares a comprehensive submission plan in line with the project requirements.
• Works in close collaboration with the Building Design Manager and Design Engineers and clients for which the building work is being carried out to ensure architectural and design requirements are in line with the client's vision and strategy.
• Reviews and provides input for building architecture concept regarding design techniques.
• Coordinates and monitors activities of companies engaged in preparing drawings and specification documents to ensure adherence to project concepts and timeframes. Liases with respective Project Managers to inform of progress and any issues.
• Identifies critical issues and provides suggestions and proposal to overcome these or recommends alternative plans.
• For any in-house design projects creates designs and prepares drawings, plans, specifications, architectural finishes, materials to be used, perspectives, and color studies in compliance with architectural standards, codes, and regulation inter faces regularly with the respective Project Manager.
• As required, prepares design elements of the project files of the respective project involved in. Maintains logs and records of work performed, prepares periodic and special reports as required.
• Assist the Construction Manager to monitor and resolve matters such as work procedures, complaints and construction problems.
My work includes review and evaluation of design drawings, supervision in the preparation of architectural shop drawings and as-built drawings, coordination with project consultants, subcontractors, designers, MEP team and site team for the required information prior to procurement and site implementation, provision of architectural solution to conflicts that may arise during construction, preparation of handing-over documents (as-built, warranties, certificates, keys, QCDD required documents for architectural items).
