•Managing group's banking advisory services
-Provide inputs and advisory services on acceptance of trade finance instruments in compliance with internal and external guidelines.
-Prescribe banking facilities to subsidiaries (local and international) based on respective operational requirements.
-Provide and disseminate banking industry development including rating, ranking and updates.
•Managing banking structure solution for holding company and subsidiaries; including analyzing operational, settlement and reputational risk and negotiating and securing best services from financial institutions.
•Managing cash management solution for holding company and subsidiaries; including analyzing and identifying gaps and negotiating and securing best cash management solution for the group.
•Responsible in ensuring efficient cash flow planning and forecast for holding company, including inter-company transactions.
•Direct involvement in current Integrated Financial Shared Services (“IFSSC”) project at Group Treasury, aiming at gaining visibility of group-wide cash flow through automation of banking processes and more efficient cash planning and investment processes.
•Maintain professional relationship with existing and new bankers and local and international banks/financial institutions.

•Managing company and subsidiaries cash position and investment in short term product such as money market placements. Responsible in overall Treasury management including cash and working capital management for the company and ensure efficient distribution within the group.
•Responsible in securing project financing, trade finance and foreign exchange facilities for the group inclusive of preparation of Debt Information Memorandum, financials and cash flow projections, negotiation of financing terms and condition and submission of required documentation.
•Responsible in preparation of Board of Directors’ papers for matters related to Treasury, financing, bank accounts and operation mandate, etc.
•Ensure efficient management of bank accounts, bank facilities and maintain strong working network with existing and new bankers.
•Managing foreign exchange exposure for the group, dealing with bank treasuries and foreign exchange dealer for foreign exchange transaction and hedging possibilities.

•Managing the South East Asia (SEA) and Australia cash management team. Working closely with team in Thailand, Indonesia, Australia, cash management headquarters in Houston and centralized Treasury in New York.
•Ensure efficient distribution of cash for SEA commitments, repatriation of capital for investment, repayment of existing and newly required inter-company loans.
•Liaising with Country Accountants on cash flow forecast and related transactions.
•Ensure efficient management of bank accounts, bank and inter-company loan facilities and maintain strong working network with bankers.
•Assist in the process of setting up new business venture in China. Dealing with local advisor and banker in China to ensure documentations, requirements by local authorities are met.
•Monitoring cash management transactions for SEA and Australia have been entered accurately and timely.

•Lead audit team in carrying audit assignments for Malaysia and Indonesia entities; by providing independent and objective assurance to improve company’s operations through suggesting systematic and disciplined approach.
•Evaluate and improve the effectiveness of risk management, control and governance processes and provide consulting activities.
•Review the operational effectiveness and efficiency by ensuring the accomplishment of established objectives and goals for all operations economically with efficient use of resources.
•Hands on audit experience in the area of Finance, Human Resources, Logistics and Feedstock (raw material).
•Responsible in preparing full audit report and documents for Audit and Risk Committee (ARC) within tight deadline.

•Cash Management
-Ensure efficient management of group’s working capital facilities worth of RM2 billion and receipts of group turnover of RM4 billion yearly.
-Monitor and ensure compliance of Term Loan commitments and covenants.
-Responsible in cash flow planning and monitor cash movement for group, including inter-company transactions.
-Managing idle funds via short-term placements in REPO and DEPO; and short term financing via Bankers’ Acceptance and Bill Discounting.

•Documentary Credit (DC)
- Ensure establishment of import DC worth of RM450 million monthly within required time for Malaysia and Indonesia subsidiary.
- Review incoming export DC terms and conditions and negotiation of document accurately and timely.

•Maintain professional relationship with existing and new bankers.
•Manage other banking facilities matters including trade finance mechanism, internet banking, etc.
•Negotiate with bank’s Treasury dealers for foreign exchange transactions on spot and contract
•Handling yearly review of banks’ Working Capital letter of offer and ensure compliance of terms and covenants.
•Responsible in enhancement/auto generation of treasury processing or reporting.

•Supervise Accounts Payable team to ensure monthly and yearly closing are as per deadlines and all process are done in accordance to company and accounting policies.
•Supervise Accounts Receivable team to ensure monthly and yearly closing is as per deadlines.
•Disbursement
-ensure all bank transactions (transfer, BA’s, etc) are properly recorded in timely manner.
-monitor bank balances and review bank reconciliation.
