Full budgetary and operational responsibility for all CIS operations in Mongolia. I run a direct reporting team of 20 senior managers between the head office in Ulaanbaatar and the various regions of Mongolia. We manage more than 600 tons of food items per month with a logistics chain covering 80, 000 Km per month catering to the needs of up to 10, 000 residents.
Key project is the large Oyu Tolgoi copper and gold mine, operated by Rio Tinto. Here we are providing all camp and site services functions including catering, housekeeping, laundry, maintenance and recreation/entertainment services.
Successfully delivered a renewed contract in face of stiff competition after 18 months of contract negotiations.
Responsible for key client negotiations as well as driving the commercial aspects for CIS. With a 96% local workforce from a total of 1, 200 employees we are a major employment provider in Mongolia and have received many awards from government and NGO's for our contribution to the economy.
Implementation of the ICMM principals in terms of socio-economic development and community integration. Established key links with community leaders, governors and NGO's within the South Gobi region.
