Sales planning and budgeting:
- Coordinate Annual Sales Planning and Budgeting
- Custodian of the Annual Sales and Marketing Budget, and provide periodic (Monthly, Quarterly, Half-Yearly) review of actual performance vs. Actual.
- Maintain MIS for the Sales and Marketing Department
- Responsible for assessing the monthly forecast figures from the sales teams and finalizing the forecast with Vice President - Sales & Marketing.
- Consolidate sales plans by product-line & SKU, and provide sales forecasting input to S&OP function.
Market Information collection for decision making:
- Initiate and co-ordinate market research for the Department either by own initiative or following request of Vice President - Sales & Marketing.
- Assimilate market information and internal sales information to derive inferences for decision making.
- Coordinate with R&D team and customers to understand customer economics which can be used for product design and marketing.
Strategy Formulation & Implementation:
- Conduct Strategic Analysis to Develop the Strategy.
- Translate the Strategy by contributing to the development of strategy map, objectives, KPIs, targets.
- Develop the Plan by helping to identify strategic Initiatives, allocate budgets and Ownership.
-Prepare, organize, and conduct of Monthly BSC review meetings.
-Support the review process and the follow-up actions.
- Evaluate potential projects seeking loans from SIDF and provide clear recommendations to their viability from marketing stand.
- Conduct marketing studies to industrial sectors and update them from time to time to check the possibility/viability of future SIDF participation in financing new projects in these specific sectors.
- Conduct marketing consultancy to operating projects financed by SIDF particularly those that encounter difficulties and request re-scheduling.
- Investigate the industrial investment opportunities available for establishing a national factory to produce promising product(s)
- Study the export markets and the opportunities for local factories to export and help sponsors in designing the appropriate export strategies.
- Development of Saudi calibers in marketing fields.
Developing and implementing marketing and advertising campaigns; tracking sales data; maintaining promotional materials inventory; planning meetings and trade shows; maintaining databases; preparing reports.
