Provides leadership and guidance to eastern personnel in the operation of MWR facilities and programs. Serves as the western presence and the shift in-charge staf member in an assigned facility or facilities. Answers patron questions and monitors all facility operations while on shift. Assist in the development, planning, production and execution of MWR section programs. Passes to lower level staf the instructions received from supervisors and gets work started by assigning the immediate tasks to members of the group led. Checks work in progress and when finished to see whether the standard customer-service standard is adhered to or to assists lower staf in the handling of customer complaints or inquiries in order to avoid escalation or recurrence of issue. Trains less experienced employees in all aspects of facility activities and procedures, to include but not limited to equipment and facility safety, administrative procedures and event support. Monitors activities for adherence to policies and procedures, identifies when patron or employee is not adhering to facility rules, advises on consequences of behavior and options to modify behavior, and prepares a summary of actions to take to resolve problem. Provides guidance on the implementation and oversight of activity and event planning. Identifies, documents and reports concerns related to equipment, turn ins, repairs, maintenance, and services, as required and provides relevant reports or input to the facility supervisor. Prepares and submits work orders for repairs. Assists
with performing monthly and periodic inventory checks in accordance with policies and procedures. Performs related duties and responsibilities as assigned.
