After Mobily acquired “Bayanat al-Oula” a licensed Data Service Provider & Zajil ISP (Internet Service Provider) a major restructuring of functions and responsibilities at which I was promoted to such capacity of a main role to Monitor, Control & Execute correction, recovery plans to assure the Business Sales activities and objectives are on track and achieved. Responsible for revenue booking form Direct Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) in Saudi & North Gulf. After leaving a significant impact on the IPR/ Anti- Piracy in the kingdom, moved back to the OEM arena as regional staff to managing and developing marketing and sales promos and projects to OEM accounts. Creating sustainable competitive advantage to each account; were focusing on identifying & profiling DOEM accounts as major systems builders' players in the region and by developing high business standards and branding positioning; focusing mainly on setting marketing and sales strategies to insure accounts business growth in terms of revenue & market share for both local and regional IT market. As well maintained and enhanced business relations with Multinational brands and PC components manufacturers.
Responsible for implementing all Anti-Piracy/IPR activities in Saudi Arabia, creating strategic marketing and sales programs for the Channel and End User segments. I also manage the Government relationship to ensure enforcement activities are conducted and receive suitable press coverage, as well as coordinating the anti-piracy activities in the region for all the major international software vendors through my role within the Business Software Alliance (BSA). In 2002 I have developed a legitimization program that realized USD $7.1 million incremental revenue to Microsoft Arabia.
