Achievements
As a Project Manager I delivered many projects on time, budget and clients satisfaction. Some
key projects are listed at the back of this CV. As a Client Relationship Manager for AGL, I
negotiated and secured the win of new projects, thus expanding the water business in PB
Australia. I managed to successfully deliver projects within extremely tight delivery times
requiring multi-disciplinary inputs such as the expansion of Rouse Hill WWTP bid designs. I also
managed to expand the services of PB Australia, Water Business to cover projects of operational
nature such as developing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for Gas Distribution systems
and the commissioning of the Ocean Outfall at Wollongong WWTP.
Mentoring and training graduate engineers to a very professional level was also one of my main
achievements.

2002-2005 Operation & Maintenance - Drainage Department
Ministry Municipal Affairs and Agriculture Qatar
Sewage Treatment Works Chief Operations and Process Engineer
Duties included responsibility for the O&M of 15 sewage treatment works including industrial
treatment plant in accordance with Drainage Department’s requirements to achieve full
compliance with the regulatory authorities and to achieve clients’ satisfaction in protecting
public health and environment. Duties also included the management of small to medium size
O&M and refurbishment projects, coordination with Design Services, coordination with
construction division within the Drainage Department, reviewing planning studies and design
work carried out by consultants, process optimisation, troubleshooting, and provision of
technical advice to senior management and reporting. My duties also involved the operation
and management of recycled water to main, critical customers at the required quality. Other
duties included policy development and review, capital and operation budget development. I
also contributed to the restructuring of the O&M Department for sourcing out certain O&M
functions to external contractors. I also participated in the preparation of the of the Asset
Management project brief.

Achievements
As the nominated Project Manager for the Sepon Western Water Management Project, Sepon
Laos, I contributed to the winning of the tender followed by the delivery on time and budget to
client’s satisfaction of two Industrial wastewater treatment plants at a gold and copper mine.
The project scope included, preliminary engineering work, concept designs and detailed
designs including risk assessment and value engineering. The main challenges on the project
were a short delivery timeframe, technology selection and a tight project budget.
