Job Profile:
1. Handling pipeline operations from Control Room using PLC & SCADA as per OISD.
2. Quality Control of Pipeline products, namely, High Speed Diesel, Superior Kerosene Oil, Motor Spirit and handling of product interface as per of Industrial Quality Control Manual.
3. Monitoring of various equipment such as pipeline valves, fire-alarm panels, etc.
4. Handling various Pipeline Inspection Gauges (PIGs) with tracking.
5. Monitoring of movement of security personnel through GPS-based Security Tracking System (STS).
6. Conducting monthly training & safety briefings of officers & contract workmen.
7. Handling maintenance, testing & calibration of various station equipment such as mainline/booster pumps, valves, flanges, cranes, chain pulley blocks & strainers as per OISD.
8. All jobs in this Cathodic Protection System are carried out as per guideline of OISD.
9. Handling maintenance of the Cathodic Protection System installed at MDPL-Awa through periodic pipe to-soil potential surveys along TLPs, CAT and DCVG.
10. Monitoring the effectiveness of the internal corrosion mitigation system through analysis of the corrosion coupon installed in line.
11. To keep eye on Fire Alarm panel/ Aragonite Alarm panel /Hydro carbon detector and to take strict action if alarm is raised.
12. To keep eye on Line walker whether they are inspecting Pipeline or not through Security Tracking System and by carrying out surprise inspection, simulation.
13. Issues Permits such as cold work, confined space entry and Hot work, etc. after ensuring the availability of Personal Protective Equipment along with specified rescue as per Job to be carried out.
14. At change of shift, officers taking handover of charge of plant understand the inspection, observations, maintenance, management, operation carried out in the shift, on-going operation and future planning for shift.
15. To check whether the Mainline Pump is working being in Healthy condition.
16. As a Shift engineer looking after all activities like receipt from pipeline, tank to tank transfer, joint gauge with IOTL, carrying out all the sampling for quality check etc.
17. Well acquaintance with pipeline operation using Rockwell PLC as well as SCADA, setting of operating parameters for Booster Pumps, Main Line Pumps and Pressure Controls Valves.

1. Laying of Main Transmission 1200 mm diameter water pipeline of mild steel
2. Laying of Distribution line of Ductile Iron.
3. Factory Inspection for the inspection of mild steel saw pipes used for water transmission.
Job Responsibilities At The Site:
1. Testing and commissioning of Distribution Network (Ductile Iron).
2. Testing and commissioning of Transmission Line (Mild Steel).
3. Document preparation and submission.
4. Fabrication, Erection and testing of underground pipeline for water and services.
5. Pressure testing of pipes.
