• Selectively recommending and applying a wide range of Security Tools (Ethereal, Netcat, ISS Network Scanner, NMAP) and IDS (RealSecure Network Sensors, Tipping Point IPS)
Continuation of Responsibilities:
• Preparing and developing Log analysis Software with VB for Proxy Log analysis. Ensuring the suitability of the software for meeting business requirements, through system designing, test designing and implementation.
• Planning and devising ways to optimize existent resources to improve throughputs thus enhancing system performance parameters. Developing interface to Censoring proxy with ASP and MS SQL Server 7.0 implementation.
• Catering to major issues pertaining to the planning, administration, operation and security management, of all systems, network and database installations in a Windows (NT/2000), UNIX, Linux environment. Chiefly encompassing intranet services by developing an intranet based workflow.
